淸越樓 吟詠詩에 나타난 자아와 세계의 만남 (A Study on the assignation of persona and the world reflected in poems about Cheongwolru)

초록

본고는 상주시(尙州市) 모동면(牟東面) 옥동서원(玉洞書院) 안에 있는 청월루 음영시에 대하여 고찰한 논문이다. 옥동서원이라는 이름이있기 전 백화서원을 제재로 하여 시를 지은 분은 유촌(柳村) 황여헌(黃汝獻)과 대산(大山) 이상정(李象靖)이다. 유촌의 <백화서원(白華書 院)>시는 백화서원과 서원 유생들에게 바라는 큰 기대감을 이 시 안에 함축하고 있다. 대산(大山)은 두 수의 시에서 그 자신의 정감(情感) 을 묘사하고 있다. 그가 자신의 시에서 학문에 관한 자신의 견해는 밝히지 않았다. 그러나 그 자신이 한결 같은 마음을 가진 선비라는 것을은근히 드러내고 있다.
입재(立齋) 정종로(鄭宗魯)는 <청월루(淸越樓)> 시를 통하여 청월루에서 공부하는 사람들은 인격과 학문이 완성되기를 바라고 있다. 청월(淸越)을 금성옥진(金聲玉振)에 비유하여 청월루에 많은 의미를 부여하였다. 그가 이<청월루>시를 통하여 청월루에서 공부하는 사람들은 인격과 학문이 완성되기를 바라고 있다.
백하(白下) 황반로(黃磻老) 역시 청월루에서 그냥 시를 읊은 것이아니라 청월루에 의미를 부여하였고, 또 그 의미에 맞는 인재가 배출되기를 바라고 있다. 장원(藏園) 황원선(黃源善)도 입재나 백하와 같이단순히 그의 눈에 보이는 경물(景物)을 묘사한 것이 아니라 경물을 통하여 자아의 희망을 읊고 있다. 녹차(綠此) 황오(黃五)의 <청월루>시는 시려(是廬) 황난선(黃蘭善)과 수창한 작품이다. 이 두 사람 사이에는 시가 곧 대화였다. 시려와 녹차가 묘사한 청월루는 창작의 공간이면서 접빈(接賓)의 공간이었다. 시려 황난선은 녹차 황오와 수창한 시를 비롯하여 청월루를 제재로 하여 17제 25수의 시를 지었다. 그가청월루를 제재로 하여 지은 시는 청월루가 창작의 공간, 접빈의 공간으로 나타난다. 이는 강학(講學)할 때는 시를 짓지 않은 탓이다. 그에게 청월루는 충전의 공간이 되었다.
청월루 시의 의의는 다음과 같다. 첫째 청월루 뿐만 아니라 옥동서원의 여러 건축물을 제재로 하여 창작을 했던 시인들은 당대에 학문과 덕행으로 유명한 선비였다. 둘째 이 시인들을 통하여 당시 학맥과혼인 관계를 알 수 있다. 셋째 이 청월루 시를 통하여 장수황씨 후손들의 선조에 대한 추앙(推仰)과 일가에 대한 애정을 알 수 있다. 넷째이 청월루 시를 통하여 당대의 시풍(詩風)의 단면을 알 수 있다. 다섯째 이 청월루 시를 통하여 그들의 현실인식과 시인들의 지향의식을알 수 있다. 여섯째 청월루 음영 시를 통하여 이를 제재로 하여 창작을 했던 시인들의 학문 경향을 알 수 있다.

This paper seeks to analyse poems about, which is located inside of Okdong School, Sangju city.
Before dive into interpreting poems, the place which will be mentioned in this whole paper was called as BaekHwa School before its name changed to Okdong school. Several poets such as Yuchon YeoHeon Hwang, Daesan SangJung Lee were inspired to write poems about Baek Hwa school. Even if all those authors wrote poems about it, all of them have different writing styles as well as convey different messages in their poems. In this article, several authors who wrote poems about Baek Hwa school will be discussed below.
To begin with, Yuchon’s poem implies that he was anticipating all pupils in the school to do well and the place to be propereous. Second, Daesan’s poem depicts affection towards the school. He did not necessarily provide his opinion on literature. However, his poem subtly shows that he was a steady scholar. Third, JeongJongro’s poem conveys the message that he wished for pupils who studied at Cheongwolru to improve both personally and academically. He gave considerable meaning to Cheongwolru by metaphorically calling it as the sound of the metal and jade.
Also, BanRo Hwang was not just chanting a poem in Cheongwolru, but he had put the meaning in the place. Furthermore, he hoped for new elites to appear in there. Alike all the poems cited above, WonSeon Hwang sought to put considerable meanings in the place in his poems.
He did not stop reflecting his consciousness by only chanting the poem in Chengwolru, but he showed his consciousness by chanting a poem. On the other hand, Oh Hwang and Nansun Hwang exchanged poems. For them, the poem was used as a conversational method.
Throughout an analysis of inherent meanings in poems about Cheongwolru, literature trend in that period can be identified as following: First, all the authors who wrote the poems about Cheongwolru and other architectures inside of Okdong School were infamous scholars for their literature and moral behaviors. Second, it is possible to notice the literal style and marital status at that time throughout the authors analysed above. Third, poems about Cheongwolru portray that not only descendants of the family of Jangsu Hwang worshipped their ancestors, but also showed their affection towards them. Fourth, the literature style of that time can be easily identifiable. Fifth, poets’ sense of reality and their world view are identifiable. Sixth, literature trend of poets who wrote poems after getting inspiration from Cheongwolru can be found.
