일부 농어촌지역 예체능전공 대학생들의 교수지지가 진로정체감과 취업준비역량에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Professor Support among College Students Majoring in Art and Physical Education in Farming and Fishing Communities on Career Identity and Employment Preparation Competency)

초록

본 연구는 예체능전공 학생들의 진로개발 및 취업률 향상을 위한 방안을 모색하고자 예체능전공학생들의 교수지지와 진로정체감, 취업준비역량을 조사하여 그 차이를 비교하고, 교수지지와 진로정체감, 취업준비역량간의 상관관계와 영향관계를 명확하게 규명, 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 농어촌 지역 4년제 대학교와 2년제 전문대학에 재학 중인 예체능전공학생들을 대상으로 800부의 설문지를 배포하였고, 미회수 설문지 102부, 응답 내용이 부실하거나 신뢰도가 낮은 72부, 총 174부의 자료를 제외한 626부를 본 연구의 최종 분석에 사용하였다. 조사도구의 구성내용은 일반적 특성(대학유형, 학년, 학업성취도) 3문항, 교수지지(정서적지지, 정보적지지, 평가적지지) 10문항, 진로정체감(목표, 흥미, 성격, 재능) 10문항, 취업준비역량(취업정보탐색, 취업준비행동) 15문항, 총 38문항으로 구성하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN 20.0 통계 프로그램을 활용하여 빈도분석, 요인분석, 신뢰도분석을 실시하였고, 일반적 특성(대학유형, 학년, 학업성취도)에 따른 교수지지와 진로정체감, 취업준비역량의 차이를 알아보기 위해 독립적그룹 t-검증(Independent Groups t-test)과 일원변량분석(One-way ANOVA)을, 교수지지와 진로정체감, 취업준비역량간의 상관관계 검증을 위해 피어슨의 적률상관분석(Pearson product moment correlation)을, 교수지지가 진로정체감, 취업준비역량에, 진로정체감이 취업준비역량에 미치는 영향을 검증하기 위해 다중회귀분석(multiple regression analysis)등을 실시한 결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 일반적 특성에 따른 교수지지는 4년제보다 2년제가, 학년이 낮을수록 높았고, 진로정체감 전체와 하위변인 목표와 재능 모두 학년이 높을수록 높았고, 취업정보탐색역량은 4년제 학생이 2년제 학생보다 높았고, 학년이 높을수록 높았다. 모두 학업성취도가 높은 학생들이 높았다.
둘째, 예체능전공 학생들의 교수지지가 높을수록 진로정체감과 취업준비역량이 증가하였고, 진로정체감이 높을수록 취업준비역량이 증가하였다.
셋째, 예체능전공학생들의 교수지지와 진로정체감, 취업준비역량의 영향 관계를 알아본 결과, 변인별로 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 교수지지는 진로정체감과 취업준비역량 하위 요인 모두 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 취업준비역량 전체에 진로정체감 하위 요인 중 목표, 흥미, 재능이 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
이상과 같이, 예체능전공학생들의 교수지지와 진로정체감, 취업준비역량에 대해 대학유형, 학년에 따라 상이한 차이와 학업성취도가 높을수록 변인들의 인식 정도가 높은 것으로 나타났고, 교수지지와 진로정체감, 취업준비역량 간의 긍정적 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

영어초록

This study aims to provide basic data for career development and employment improvement of college students majoring in art and physical education. For this study, a total of 626 questionnaires on professor support, career identity and employment preparation competency were distributed to college students majoring in art and physical education in farming and fishing communities. After collecting the questionnaires, frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, t-test and f-test, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were conducted using SPSS WIN 20.0. The study findings are as follows.
First, in relation to general characteristics of the subjects, professor support was higher among two-year college students than among four-year college students and higher among lower-grade college students. In addition to career identity, goals, and talents, which are sub-factors of career identity, were all high among higher-grade college students. Also, employment information exploration competency was higher among four-year college students than among two-year college students and higher among higher-grade college students. In general, professor support, career identity, and employment information exploration competency were high among students with high academic achievement.
Second, when professor support was high among students majoring in art and physical education, career identity and employment preparation competency increased, and when career identity was high, employment preparation competency increased.
Third, there were significant differences among professor support among students majoring in art and physical education, career identity, and employment preparation competency. Professor support had a statistically significant influence on all the sub-factors of career identity and employment preparation competency. Among sub-factors of career identity, goals, interests, and talents had a statistically significant effect on employment preparation competency.
As stated above, there were considerable differences in professor support among students majoring in art and physical education, career identity, and employment preparation competency depending on the types of college and the grades, and high academic achievement was related to high recognition of the variables. Also, there was a positive correlation among professor support, career identity, and employment preparation competency.
