농․어촌 다문화가정유아의 언어, 인지,사회-정서발달수준과 공격성의 구조모형 분석 (A Structural Equation Modeling Analysis of the Influence of Language, Cognitive, and Social and Emotional Development on the Children with Aggressive Behavior at Multi-cultural Families in Agricultura)

초록

본 연구는 최근 농․어촌 다문화가정 유아들의 문제행동으로 보고되는 공격행동에 대한 언어, 인지 및 사회․정서발달 수준의 영향에 대해 분석하고 관련 변인들 간의 구조적 관계를 파악하는 것을 그 목적으로 하였다. 연구대상은 충청남북도 및 전라남북도 농․어촌지역 만 3-6세 다문화가정유아 147명이며 이들의 자기조절능력과 공격행동을 측정하기 위해 해당 유아의 어머니(147명)가 참여하였다. SPSS와 AMOS프로그램을 활용하여 구조방정식 모형을 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자기조절능력과 자아존중감은 연구대상 유아들의 공격행동에 직접적인 영향을 주는 반면, 언어능력과 인지능력은 간접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 구조방정식모형 내 관련 변인들 간의 인과관계 가설검증을 토대로 전체적으로 유의미한 간접경로를 분석한 결과 두 가지 유의미한 경로가 보고되었다. 1) 언어능력은 인지능력과 자기조절능력을 통해 공격성에 간접적인 영향을 미친다. 2) 언어능력은 자아존중감을 통해 공격행동에 간접적인 영향을 미친다. 셋째, 농․어촌 다문화가정유아의 언어발달지연은 인지 및 사회․정서발달의 지연을 초래하고 이것이 공격행동을 증가시키는 원인이 되는 것으로 보고되었다. 본 연구를 통해 농․어촌 다문화가정유아에게서 보고될 수 있는 공격성과 관련 변인들 간의 구조모형이 제시 되었으며 이를 기초로 한 공격행동 예방 및 중재프로그램과 관련된 후속연구의 필요성이 제기되었다.

For the last decade, the number of kindergarten-age children at multi-cultural families in agricultural & fishing areas has increased dramatically in South Korea. This study aimed to investigate the causal relationships and the structure of the children's language, cognitive, and social emotional(especially for self-esteem, self-regulation) development, and aggression. 147 children aged 3 to 6 at multi-cultural families and their immigrant mothers in Chung-chung and Jul-la provinces were participatedn) delected data were analyzed with SPSS and AMOS statistical programs. The results of this study are as follows: First, through the analysis of dirend and indirend effend between aggression and its related variables (their level of language, cognitive, and social·emotional development) of children at multi-cultural families in agricultural & fishing areas, aggression was direndly influenced by self-regulation and self-esteem whereas it was indirendly influenced by the level of language and cly influeeir level of Senond, through the causal effend hypothesis analysis(standardized regression wtweet), two indirend path ways were statistically siy ifica o: 1) language asticay indirendly influenced aggression through self- esteem.ve) language asticay indirendly influenced aggression through cly influeasticay and self-regulation. In nonclusion, thesuefindings impiccated that the delay of language eir level o of young children at multi-cultural families in agricultural and fishing areas indirendly influenced their aggression through the der level o delay on cly infon, self-regulation and self-esteem. Therefore, the results of this study confirmed the causal structure of aggression and its related variables of children at multi-cultural family in agricultural & fishing areas and suggested further studies relevant to prevention and intervention programs.
