百丈庵石燈系 日本 金銅製燈構施設에 對한 考察 (Compared the BaekJang-Temple's stone lantern in Korea and DongDae-Temple's gilt bronze lantern in Japan)

초록

全羅北道南原市山內面立石里에 所在하고 있는 百丈庵에는 新羅時代 三層石塔을 비롯하여 9世紀初 石燈과 朝鮮時代의 石鐘形 浮屠 數点이 寺內 浮屠밭에 設置되어 있다. 부도밭은 원래 1979년전까지는 百丈寺 法堂을 中心으로 附屬建物이 配置되어 있었으나 火災로인하여 當時에는 이미 일찍이 廢墟化하였던 實相寺로 移轉됨으로서 百丈庵으로 轉落된 庵子이다.
이곳에는 獨得한 石燈이 있는 곳으로 이 石燈은 日本奈良縣奈良市雜司町에 所在하고 있는 東大寺 大佛殿 앞에 세워져 있는 金銅製八角燈構와 類似한 것으로 이 東大寺 燈構는 奈良時代 A.D.751년에 大佛像과 同時期에 鑄造된 燈構로 알려지고 있다.
東大寺 등은 韓國의 百丈庵石燈과 渤海文化圈에 속하는 上京龍泉府 石燈을 綜合的인 折衝樣式을 收容한 樣式으로 여겨진다. 즉, 백장암의 燈臺趺와 上京龍泉府 燈構部의 要素를 折衝한 要素를 收容한 東大寺 燈構로 여겨진다.
百丈庵 石燈의 燈臺趺 蓮華下臺에 附屬된 竿柱받침대인 仰蓮臺의 構造가 東大寺燈構의 蓮華下臺 附設施設의 構造가 같다는 事實이다.
上京 龍泉府 石燈의 燈構와 東大寺 八角願堂形 木造建築樣式을 模倣한 樣式으로 追從된다.
東大寺 燈構의 先行되는 作品이 日本內에서는 아직 밝혀진 바가 없으므로 先行要素는 韓國石燈의 影響받어 이루어 진 것으로 여겨진다.
東大寺燈이 造成된 時期를 A.D.751년 直後로 推定되지만 地震과 兵禍로 인해 심한 被害를 당하여 平安朝末 戰國時代에 더 심한 被害를 당한 緣故로 이 時期를 前後하여 再補强鑄造하였을 것으로 여겨지지만 竿柱에 記錄된 經文 活字體가 平安朝 혹은 鎌倉時代에 使用되었던 活字體로 보는 傾向이 있으므로 참고 삼을 수 있는 것으로 추정된다. 그러므로 東大寺 燈構의 再鑄造한 編年은 大體로 9世紀 中葉으로 推定된다.

영어초록

There are including Silla’s three-stories stone pagoda, stone lantern of earlier in 9th century and Chosun’s stone-bell style stupa in BaekJang-small Temple where it is placed in Ipsukri Sannaemyun Namwon city Jeonrabuk province.
Baekjang-small Temple is a small temple degraded to Baekjang-small Temple where there were originally attached buildings around the main Buddhist hall until 1979 when it moved to SilSang-Temple which was ruined at that time because of a fire.
A BaekJang-Temple's stone lantern is similar to the gilt bronze octagonal lantern which is placed in front of the great main Buddhist hall in DongDae-Temple in Japan.
DongDae-Temple's gilt bronze lantern is known as being made at the same time with the great Buddhist statue in the era of Nara in A.D.751.
DongDae-Temple's gilt bronze lantern is considered to have both styles of BaekJang-Temple's stone lantern in Korea and Bal Hae’s SangKoungyongchunbu's stone lantern. In other words, it is a compromise of the Deungdae-part of BaekJang-Temple's stone lantern and Deungku-part of SangKoungyongchunbu. The first reason is that the structure of the upper lotus flower in the Ganju-supporting stand that is attached to the lower lotus flower stand beneath the Deungdae-part of BaekJang-Temple's stone lantern is the same as the structure of the lower lotus flower stand of DongDae-Temple's gilt bronze lantern. Second, DongDae-Temple's gilt bronze lantern is presumed to have gone after the wooden made style of the octagonal style of SangKoungyongchunbu's stone lantern. Third, since there has not been no other works before DongDae-Temple's gilt bronze lantern. yet, it is my understanding that the previous important factor would be the influence of Korea’s stone lantern.
Although, a DongDae-Temple's gilt bronze lantern is estimated to be built right after A.D. 751, DongDae-Temple had been heavily damaged by an earthquake and fire in a battle and it was even more damaged in the era of the war situation. Therefore, it is thought as to the reinforcement work and casting around this time, however, the written style in the Ganju is estimated to have been used during Heian era which means we can estimate that the approximate time when DongDae-Temple's gilt bronze lantern was rebuilt should be around the mid of 9th century.
