초록

This study is carried out to investigate the concepts of Stay Practice Meet Manage come out of <Meditative Essay Synopsis of Confucianism I stay> and to compare with Stay Practice Perceive Manage come out of <Meditative Essay Synopsis of Confucianism Business & Things>. Through this study, several important views and understandings could be proposed as follows.
1. Stay means stay at home with Doing homeworks or any other concrete things in his best and most righteous way as possible. And there's needed virtue of diligence.
2. Practice means do good one's behavior or don't violate etiquette. And there's needed virtue of ability.
3. Meet means meet with a lot of people and put them to rights or encourage them in their goodness in the course of acquaintance. And there's needed virtue of wisdom.
4. Manage means manage business or affairs changing from time to time, that is, decide and solve the complicated affair timely. And there's needed virtue of sincerity.
5. Perceive is substituted to meet simply. The reason why mind is substituted to people.
6. The abstract and philosophical conception of Mind Body Business Things can have vivid and practical meanings by intervention of intermediary being, People Ego Heaven Earth. As for Dongmoo, 4 items of Stay Practice Meet Manage are the aims and methods to accomplish the Confucian's utopia tilled with righteousness.


1. 연구목적<格致藁>를 이해하기 위해서는 心身事物을 이해해야 하는데 이 四元의 일차적인 屬性을 규정하는 것이 止行覺決이다. 我止章의 전면적인 해석을 통하여 事物章의 止行覺決과 我止章의 止行遇決을 비교분석하면서 함의를 밝히고 그 同異에 관해 연구하고자 한다.
2. 연구방법事物章의 3조문과 我止章 전체를 번역하고 고찰에서 문자적인 해설을 첨부한 다음 이를 바탕으로 분석하였다.
3. 고찰 및 결론止는 처해 있는 환경이나 여건 속에서 가장 합당하고 이상적인 방법으로 至善하게 處身하는 것이며 이 때에 요구되는 德目이 勤이다. 行은 人倫間의 활동에서 항상 모든 行實을 바로 하는 것이며 이 때 요구되는 德目이 能이다. 遇는 世會의 領域에서 많은 사람들과 交流하면서 揚善去惡하며 敎化修飭에 노력하는 것이고 이 때 요구되는 德目이 慧이다. 決은 天時에 응하여 때를 놓치지 않고 일을 決斷하여 처리함으로써 사업을 완수하는 것이며 이 때 요구되는 덕목이 誠이다. 또한 止行遇決과 止行覺決은 主語가 心에서 人으로 바뀌면서 그에 따라 서술어도 覺에서 遇로 바뀐 것으로 이해할 수 있으며 기본적인 의미맥락은 같다. 나아가 東武에게 있어 진정한 止行遇(覺)決의 실천은 善으로 충만한 세계인 孟子道德的 理想世界를 성취할 수 있는 중요한 실천방법이자 목표로써 설정되고 있다.
