초록

자연환경 보존을 위한 녹색산업이 매우 중요한 이슈로 등장하였다. 자전거타기는 이동의 수단으로 녹색산업의 핵심가치로 부각되었다. 교통체증을 완화하고 사람의 건강을 증진시키며 고갈위기에 있는 에너지를 아끼는데 기능이 있다. 이런 가운데 전국의 지방자치단체는 에너지절감이라는 세계적 조류와 정부정책에 부합하도록 자전거타기를 권장하는데 많은 행정력을 기울인다. 자전거를 타는데 불편을 최소화하고 쾌적한 도시환경을 조성하기 위한 노력을 아끼지 않는다. 자전거도로의 특성화를 통해 도시경관을 아름답게 하여 브랜드가치를 높이는데 많은 정성을 기울이고 있다.
이 연구의 목적은 자전거도로의 디자인개선을 통해 자전거생활의 활성화와 도시경관을 더 아름답게하고 도시브랜드를 높이는데 있다. 이 연구를 위하여 경상남도 창원시를 사례연구대상지로 선정하여 자전거도로의 인프라 등 연구지의 현황을 조사하고 주민의 자전거도로에 대한 디자인 개선의식 실태 및 이용만족도를 설문조사방법으로 분석하였으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같았다.
응답자 143명 중 74.2%가 자전거도로의 경관성을 위해 도로가 디자인될 필요가 있는 것으로 응답하여 자전거도로의 디자인 필요성이 강하게 작용하였다. 또한 자전거도로 디자인 개선은 도시브랜드를 강화(29.4%)하고 자전거인구를 증가(25.9%)시키며 도시경관을 개선(21.0%)하고 교통체계를 개선(20.3%)하는 것으로 인식하고 있었다. 자전거도로 이용만족도의 다중 회귀분석결과 R²=.699의 높은 설명력으로 자전거도로의 안전성, 관리상태, 자전거도로의 수량, 휴식장소 및 시설 수량, 시설디자인 변수 등이 자전거도로의 이용 만족도 결정요인으로 추출되어졌다.

Preserving the natural environment for the green industry has emerged as a very important issue. Biking in the green industry has emerged as a core value. Two research methods were applied. First, Rent a bike in order to promote the benefits of living must be found. To this end, literary research was conducted. Next, Case studies selected for the citizens of Changwon, Gyeongsangnam-do life and bike trail bike for designing the survey were aware.
Through this research the following conclusions were drawn.
First, cycling and enhance the vitality of human life and thus widening health capabilities have been proven to have a certain effect by literary research methodology.
