초록

본 논문은 첨단기술산업에 있어서 기술열위 기업이 핵심역량을 확보하기 위한 대안의 하나로 선진기업과의 전략적 제휴를 택하며, 상호간 제휴 계약체결 이후 후발기업의 핵심역량을 축적해 나가는 과정(Process)을 연구하였다. 그 결과 기술특성(교습성, 자산특정성), 조직특성(정보공유시스템), 제휴특성(관계자본, 기술보호), 개인특성(지식기반) 변수들이 기술이전 과정에서 중요한 요소로 작용한 것을 파악할 수 있었으며, 그 결과 이들 변수들에 대한 연구명제를 도출할 수 있었다.

영어초록

The Empirical Study on Technology Acquisition by the Low Capability firm in High Technology Industry and Strategic AllianceThis study focuses on how student firms obtain the technology capability and core competence from the teacher firms in the high technology industry in the situation of huge technology gap between them. By the strategic alliance, student firm made an efforts to obtain core competence from teacher firm from the point of alliance contract. This study searched for the key factors which influence to the student firms for absorbing new technology from teacher firms.As the result, this study could lead 6 propositions as follows: teachability and asset specificity variables(which are technological characteristics variables), relation capital and technology protection of partner(which are alliance characteristics variables), Technology sharing systems(which is organizational characteristics variable) and knowledge base variable(which is personal characteristics variables) influence on technology acquisition, personal and organizational absorptive capacity influence on technology acquisition.This study emphases on the importances of student firm's strategic activity which make an effort to obtain new technology from the partner by strategic alliances.
