전통공연 예술을 활용한 문화관광 콘텐츠 개발사례 연구 -몽골 울란바토르 전통공연을 중심으로- (A Case Study on the Development of Cultural Tourism Contents Using Traditional Performing Arts : Focusing on the traditional performance of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia)

초록

세계는 인터넷과 다양한 기술 발달로 인해 각 나라의 정보와 문화예술이 빠르게 소통되고있다. 그리고 이동수단의 다양화로 인해 각 나라 관광을 위한 관광객들의 교류가 매우 활발하게 진행되고 있으며, 더이상 관광은 방문할 나라의 명소만을 여행하는데 목적을 두지 않는다. 관광객은 그 나라의 역사와 문화, 생활상, 예술 등을 직접 체험하는 체험형 관광을 선호하고 있으며, 각국은 그 나라 전통예술 공연콘텐츠를 개발하였다. 따라서 본 연구 목적은 전통 공연예술을 활용한 문화관광콘텐츠의 성공적 사례인 몽골 울란바토르전통공연예술 작품과 국내 전통예술을 활용한 공연사례를 분석하여 국내에 맞는 문화관광 콘텐츠를 기획하고 개발하는 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 연구목적을 위해 몽골 전통공연예술 콘텐츠의 특성을 분석하고 한국의 문화관광 콘텐츠의 분석을 통한 필요성과 개발방안에 대해 연구하여 모색하였다. 사례분석을 통한 문화관광 콘텐츠 개발을 위한 방안을 살펴보면 다음과 같다, 첫째, 각 지역을 대표하고 지역의 역사와 특성을 내포하고 전통예술을 활용한 문화관광 콘텐츠를 개발하여야 한다. 지역 소리와 민요, 춤의 특색을 살려 공연할 수 있어야 관광객들이 각 지역의 특색을 포함한 공연콘텐츠를 체험할 수 있어야 한다. 둘째, 관광객을 위한 전통예술을 활용한 공연콘텐츠를 개발하여야 한다. 일반 공연장 공연과는 달리 관광객들은 공연관람 시간과 공연장소, 전통예술을 활용한 공연콘텐츠를 개발할 수 있어야 한다. 셋째, 관광객 참여형 공연콘텐츠로 제작되어야 한다. 참여형 공연콘텐츠는 관광객들이 직접 무대에 올라와서 참여할 수 있는 공연으로 정의한다. 넷째, 관광재단, 관광사업체와 공연장과의 연계가 이루어져야 한다. 관광사업체 및 관광재단과 공연장과의 소통과 연계로관광객 일정 속에 공연장방문과 적극적인 마케팅과 홍보를 통한 관람이 이루어질 수 있는 유도가 필요하다. 다섯째, 가장 중요한 관객과의 소통이다. 몽골의 전통예술공연, 아오자이 쇼, 금면왕조 쇼 등은모두 비언어적인 무용과 음악 등 공연콘텐츠로 구성되었다. 언어를 활용한 공연일 경우 관객은 언어를이해할 수 없어 연극보다는 무용극, 음악과 무용의 넌버벌 퍼포먼스 형식, 댄스컬 형식 등을 고려한 콘텐츠 개발을 강조한다.
본 연구는 몽골의 전통공연을 활용한 문화관광 콘텐츠의 성공적 사례와 3년 만에 종료된 한국의 상설공연 콘텐츠 사례를 비교 분석하여 앞으로의 개발 방안을 정리하였다. 그러나 연구의 제한점으로는몽골과 한국, 아시아권 중국과 다낭 등으로 연구의 한계를 두었다. 전통예술은 모든 공연예술의 근본이 된다. 이러한 전통공연예술을 문화관광 콘텐츠로 개발하기 위해서는 전통예술의 특색을 활용한 콘텐츠 개발과 함께 문화관광 콘텐츠 활성화를 위해 누구나 이해하고 소통할 수 있는 콘텐츠 개발을 강조하고 있다. 즉 전통공연예술을 활용하여 콘텐츠로 개발하려 할 때 획일적 내용이 아닌 한국만의 특색을 갖춘 전통예술의 기획을 통한 구체적인 문화관광 콘텐츠 개발이 이루어져야 한다. 이러한 문제들을 고려한 콘텐츠 개발은 새로운 한류문화를 형성한 콘텐츠 방안으로서의 의미가 있을 것으로 사료된다.

영어초록

In the world, information and culture and arts of each country are rapidly communicating due to the development of the Internet and various technologies. In addition, due to the diversification of means of transportation, the exchange of tourists for tourism in each country is very active, and tourism no longer aims to travel only to the attractions of the countries to visit. Tourists prefer experiential tourism that directly experiences the history, culture, life, and art of the country, and each country has developed traditional art performance contents of that country.
Therefore, the purpose of this study was to explore ways to plan and develop cultural tourism contents suitable for Korea by analyzing traditional Mongolian Ulaanbaatar performing arts works and performance cases using domestic traditional arts, which are successful examples of cultural tourism contents using traditional performing arts. For the purpose of the study, the characteristics of Mongolian traditional performing arts contents were analyzed, and the necessity and development plan were studied and sought through the analysis of Korean cultural tourism contents.
The following are the ways to develop cultural tourism contents through case analysis, First, it is necessary to develop cultural tourism contents that represent each region, contain the history and characteristics of the region, and utilize traditional arts. Tourists must be able to experience performance contents including the characteristics of each region when the performance can be performed by utilizing the characteristics of local sounds, folk songs, and dance.
Second, it is necessary to develop performance contents using traditional art for tourists. Unlike general concert hall performances, tourists should be able to develop performance contents using performance viewing time, performance venue, and traditional art. Third, it should be produced as a tourist-participating performance content. Participatory performance content is defined as a performance in which tourists can directly come to the stage and participate. Fourth, the connection between the tourism foundation, tourism companies, and the concert hall must be established. It is necessary to induce visitors to visit the concert hall and watch through active marketing and promotion in the tourist schedule through communication and connection with the tourism foundation and the concert hall. Fifth, the most important is communication with the audience. Mongolian traditional art performances, Aozai shows, and Geummyeon Dynasty shows all consisted of performance contents such as non-verbal dance and music. In the case of a performance using language, the audience cannot understand the language, so the development of content is emphasized in consideration of dance plays, music and non-verbal performance forms, and dance-curl forms rather than plays.
This study summarized future development plans by comparing and analyzing the successful cases of cultural tourism contents using traditional Mongolian performances and the cases of permanent performance contents in Korea that ended in three years. However, as a limitation of the study, the study was limited to Mongolia and Korea, Asian China and Da Nang.
Traditional arts are the basis of all performing arts. In order to develop these traditional performing arts as cultural tourism contents, it is emphasizing the development of contents that anyone can understand and communicate with in order to revitalize cultural tourism contents along with the development of contents using the characteristics of traditional arts. In other words, when developing contents using traditional performing arts, specific cultural tourism contents should be developed through the planning of traditional arts with unique characteristics of Korea rather than uniform contents. Content development in consideration of these problems is considered to be meaningful as a content method that forms a new Korean Wave culture.
