후기 청소년의 인지양식 및 진로정체감 지위와 계획된 우연기술과의 관계 (Relationship among Cognitive Style, Vocational Identity Status, and Planned Happenstance of Late Adolescents)

초록

본 연구는 후기 청소년 대학생의 인지양식 및 진로정체감 지위와 계획된 우연기술과의 관계를 알아보는 데 목적이 있다. 구체적으로, 후기 청소년의 사려성-충동성 인지양식과 VISA 모형에 근거한 진로정체감 지위에 따른 계획된 우연기술의 차이를 검증하고, 그리고 인지양식과 진로정체감 지위 간 상호작용을 알아보고자 한다. 연구 대상은 K광역자치단체 소재 4년제 대학생 210명이며, 자료처리 대상은 193명이다. 수집된 자료에 대해 SPSS 23.0 프로그램을 사용하여 도구의 신뢰도 검증과 빈도분석, 군집분석, 이원분산분석(two-way ANOVA)을 적용하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 계획된 우연기술은 인지양식 간에 의미있는 차이가 있다. 즉, 계획된 우연기술은 인지양식 충동성과 효율성 집단이 사려성 집단보다 의미있게 더 높다. 둘째, 계획된 우연기술은 진로정체감 지위 간에 의미있는 차이가 있다. 즉, 성취, 탐색유예, 미분화 지위 집단은 유예, 유실, 혼미 지위 집단보다 계획된 우연기술이 의미있게 더 높다. 셋째, 계획된 우연기술은 인지양식과 진로정체감 지위 간에 상호작용 경향성이 있다. 즉, 유예 지위에서는 사려성이 충동성보다 더 높고, 성취, 탐색유예, 유실, 혼미 지위에서는 충동성이 사려성보다 더 높은 경향성을 보인다. 이러한 결과는 후기 청소년의 인지양식과 진로정체감 지위가 계획된 우연기술에 의미있는 영향을 미칠 뿐만 아니라 인지양식과 진로정체감 지위의 개인차에 따라 차별적인 영향을 미치고 있음을 시사한다. 후기 청소년의 진로상담 및 프로그램 개발과정에서 계획된 우연기술의 중요성에 대해 주목해야 할 필요가 있으며, 이와 함께 인지양식과 정체감 지위와 같은 개인차 변인을 함께 고려할 필요가 있음을 알 수 있다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship among the cognitive style, vocational identity status and the planned happenstance skills of late adolescents. In particular, it aims to examine how the planned happenstance skill can be affected by different cognitive styles of reflectivity and impulsivity and 6 types of vocational identity status based on the VISA model. and also look at the interaction between the cognitive styles and vocational identity statuses. The subjects are total 210 late adolescents of the 4-year universities located in Gyeongsangbuk-do and data of 193 late adolescents are analysed. The measurement tools are the MFFT (Matching Familar Figures Test) developed by Kagan(1965), the VISA(Vocation Identity Status Assessment) developed and revised by Porfeli, et als (2011), the PHCI(Planned Happenstance Career Inventory) developed by Kim et als (2014). For data analysis, the two-way ANOVA are applied. The findings are as follows. First, the level of planned happenstance skills shows a meaningful difference between reflectivity and impulsivity of cognitive styles. It is shown that the planned happenstance skills are higher in impulsivity and efficiency groups than the reflectivity group. Second, the planned happenstance skills differ between vocational identity statuses. In the moratorium status, the reflectivity is higher than the impulsivity whereas in the achievement, search moratorium, foreclose, and diffuse statuses, the impulsivity is higher than the reflectivity. Third, the planned happenstance skills have a tendency of interaction between cognitive style and vocational identity status. The impulsivity is higher than reflectivity in the achievement and search moratorium statuses while the reflectivity is higher than impulsivity in the moratorium, foreclose, and diffuse status. The aforesaid results suggest that the cognitive style and vocational identity status of late adolescents have an influence on the planned happenstance skills. In addition, individual differences should be reflected actively when programs are designed, considering that each individual has a different cognitive style and vocational identity status.
