착용감개선을 위한 대학생의 스키니 팬츠의 착용실태 연구 (A Study on the Current State of Skinny Pants Wearing among College Students for Better Wearing Sensations)

초록

최근 청바지는 실용성보다 패션성이 강조되고 있고,시즌마다 다양한 실루엣과 스타일이 출시되고 있다.
그 중 스키니 진은 몇 년 전 부터 연령, 성별, 계절에관계없이 선호되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 남녀대학생을 대상으로 체형특성을 파악하고, 그에 따라다르게 요구되는 스키니 팬츠의 맞음새 및 착용평가기준을 알아보고자 하였다. 조사방법은 설문지 응답방식이며 총 378부가 분석에 사용되었다. 착용하는 팬츠사이즈는 남자는 28-31 inch, 여자는 26-27 inch에 가장 많이 분포되어 있었고, 자신의 신체 허리둘레치수보다 한 두 사이즈 크게 착용하는 것을 알 수 있었다.
체형특성은 엉덩이와 허벅지 둘레의 굵기는 표준이거나 굵은 편이고, 발목은 가는 편이며, 뱃살, 종아리둘레, 다리길이는 대부분 표준으로 나타났다. 이러한 체형특성과 남녀에 따라 요구되는 착용감과 실루엣, 맞음새가 다르게 나타났다. 남자는 사방스판을 더 선호하여 활동성이 우선이었고, 여자는 좌우스판도 선호하여 다리의 각선미를 돋보이게 하는 것이 요구되었다.
또한 신체특성상 남자는 밑위가 너무 끼는 문제가 있었고, 여자는 남자보다 전체적으로 더 타이트하게 착용하여 부분적으로 섬세한 맞음새가 요구되었다. 또한여자는 날씬해보여서(23.81%), 남자는 잘 어울려서(8.20%) 스키니 팬츠를 착용하였다. 색상은 어두운 색조(77.51%)를 선호하고, 장식적인 디자인보다 심플한스타일(81.74%)을 선호하였으며, 오래입으면 형태가변하는 것(38.89%)과 착탈의 시 불편함(31.48%)을 호소하였다. 실루엣에서는 남자는 H, Y라인을, 여자는Y, V라인을 선호하였고, 종아리와 발목둘레가 가늘수록 Y, V라인을 선호하였다. 남녀 모두 짧은밑위(21cm)를 선호하였고, 뱃살이 많을수록 긴 밑위를 선호하였다. 또한 뱃살이 적은 응답자가 짧은 상의길이를선호하고, 엉덩이둘레가 클수록 아웃포켓을 선호하였으며, 남자가 전체적으로 더 많은 여유량이 요구되었다. 압박감과 중요하게 생각하는 맞음새 부위는 남녀모두 허벅지둘레를 가장 많이 응답하였고, 여자가 더많은 부위에서 압박감을 느끼고 있었다. 따라서 체형특성과 남녀의 차이로 착용감 및 요구되는 맞음새에서 다른 결과가 도출되었으며, 본 연구의 결과가 스키니 팬츠의 착용감 개선에 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.

영어초록

Recently fashion is more emphasized than practicality in blue jeans, which are released in various silhouettes and styles every season. Of them, skinny jeans have been favorites among consumers regardless of age, gender, and season for years. This study thus set out to examine the somatometry characteristics of male and female college students and resulting different fitness and wearing evaluation criteria for skinny pants. The study employed a questionnaire approach and analyzed total 378 ones. As a result, the male and female subjects were most distributed in the pants size of 28-31 inches and 26-27 inches, respectively.
They were wearing skinny pants that were bigger than their actual waist circumferences by a size or two. As for their somatometry characteristics, they mostly had an average or bigger hip and thigh, small ankle, and an average belly, calf circumference, and leg length. Those somatometry characteristics resulted in different wearing sensations, silhouettes, and fitness between man and woman. While the male college students preferred 2-way span and placed activity before anything else, their female counterparts preferred left-right span and had a demand for skinny pants to highlight their beauty of leg lines. Given the somatometric characteristics, the male subjects had a problem with the too tight crotch section, whereas the female subjects wore skinny pants tighter overall than their male counterparts and thus asked for partially delicate fitness. As for the reasons why they were wearing skinny pants, the female subjects said that they looked them slender(23.81%), and the male subjects said that they suited them(8.20%). They preferred dark colors(77.51%) and a simple style(81.74%) to a decorative design and complained that skinny pants would change in forms over time(38.89%) and were difficult to put on and take off(31.48%). As for silhouettes, the male and female subjects preferred the H and Y line and the Y and V line, respectively. The smaller calf and ankle circumference they had, the more they preferred the Y and V line. Both the male and female subjects preferred a short crotch(21 cm) section. The bigger belly they had, the more they preferred a long crotch section. Those who had a small belly tended to prefer short upper garments. Those who had a big hip circumference tended to prefer out-pockets.
The men asked for more room in general. The most important part for fitness along with a sense of pressure was the thigh circumference both among the male and female subjects. The female subjects were having a sense of pressure in more parts. There were different results for a wearing sensation and required fitness according to somatometry characteristics and genders. The results will hopefully make a contribution to the improved wearing sensation of skinny pants.
