유치원 교사의 책무성과 교수효능감 간의 관계 (The relation between kindergarten teachers' accountability and teaching efficacy)

본 연구는 유치원 교사들의 책무성과 교수효능감이 개인변인에 따라 어떠한 차이가 있는지 살펴보고 유치원 교사의 책무성이 교수효능감에 미치는 영향력을 알아보고자 하는 목적에서 이루어졌다. 이를 위해 서울, 경기지역에 소재한 32개의 유치원에 재직 중인 교사를 대상으로 질문지를 배부하고 수거하여 156부를 분석하였다. 분석 결과 유치원 교사의 개인 변인에 따른 책무성(M=3.82)은 보통 이상의 높은 수준을 보였으며, 경력 6년 이상, 교육수준 대학원 이상, 연령은 36세 이상에서 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다. 유치원 교사의 개인 변인에 따른 교수효능감은 전체 평균 3.48로 보통 이상의 높은 수준을 보였으며, 6년 이상, 대학원 이상, 36세 이상에서 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다. 유치원 교사의 책무성과 효능감의 관계는 정적으로 높은 상관관계(r=.61, p<.001)를 보여 교사의 책무성이 높을수록 교수효능감도 높아진다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 하위요인별로 분석한 결과, 관료적․전문적․도덕적․고객지향적 책무성은 자기조절력과 가장 높은 상관을 보였으며 자신감과는 가장 낮은 상관을 보였다. 유치원 교사의 책무성이 교수효능감에 미치는 영향력을 알아본 결과, 회귀모형의 설명력은 41%로 나타나 교사의 책무성이 높을수록 교수효능감도 높아진다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

영어초록

This study was conducted to investigate what individual variables make differences in kindergarten teachers' accountability and teaching efficacy and examine the effect of kindergarten teachers' accountability on their teaching efficacy. Thus, this study distributed and collected copies of the related questionnaire to teachers working for 32 kindergartens located in Seoul City and Gyeonggi Province, out of which 156 copies of the questionnaire were analyzed. As a result of the analysis, kindergarten teachers' accountability (M=3.82) by individual variables was found to be a higher level than normal, and especially it was found to be highest in kindergarten teachers with over 6 years in career, over graduate school in educational background and over 30 in age. On the other hand, Kindergarten teachers' teaching efficacy by individual variables was found to 3.48 on average, a higher level than normal, and especially, it was found to be highest in kindergarten teachers with over 6 years in career, over graduate school in educational background and over 36 in age. With the result of the survey, the correlation between kindergarten teachers' accountability and teaching efficacy was a high positive correlation (r=.61, p<.001), which indicates that the higher kindergarten teachers' accountability became, the higher their teaching efficacy would be. As a result of analyzing each sub-factor, this study found out that kindergarten teachers' bureaucratic, professional, moral and customer-oriented accountability had the highest correlation with their self-regulation but the lowest correlation with their confidence. As a result of investigating the effect of kindergarten teachers' accountability on their teaching efficacy, this study found out that the explanatory power of a regression model was 41%, which indicates that the higher kindergarten teachers' accountability became, the higher their teaching efficacy increased as well.
