초록

漢詩는 작가의 입장에서나 독자의 입장에서나 인간에 대한 이해라고 할 수 있 다. 한시는 작가에게 사소하고 은밀한 정서의 토로를 가장 잘 보장한다. 독자는 한시를 읽으면 작가의 삶의 진실에 가장 가까이 접근할 수 있다. 어떤 인물을 이해하고자 할 때 그가 남긴 고담준론의 철학 저술을 읽는 것 못지않게 그가 남 긴 단편의 한시를 꼼꼼히 읽는 것도 중요하다. 俛宇 郭鍾錫(1846~1919)의 한시가 수록된

영어초록

Chinese poetry is closely related to both its writers and readers in respect of understanding of human beings. It is the most effective way of writing in which poets are able to express their minute and private emotions. To read each poem leads readers to approach the heart of its author's life. In order to deepen one's appreciation of people's character reading their short poems closely is as important as taking a careful look at their philosophical writings, A Collection of Myun-woo's Works(『俛宇集』) is edited in chronological order, which helps one to estimate the approximate times when each work was written. The collection contains 1,998 works under 1,541 titles. 90 percent of them were composed from his age of 16 up until 59. After the Eulsa Treaty(乙巳勒約) he wrote 255 works under 175 titles, the rest 10 percent of the collection, from the age of 60 to 74. The deviation of the number of the works has resulted from the Japanese colonial period. In this writing Guak, Jong-suk's attitude to the composition of Chinese poetry has been examined. Secondly Young-mul poetry(詠物 詩), is analysed. Lastly the proses are interpreted in which he reveals his feelings and thoughts on human relationship. He composed Chines poetry during his life time accepting the way of its writing to naturally show emotions that respond to the heart. He continued to build his character by feeling himself integrated into nature(物我一體) and by reflecting the moral culture. In due course he exposes the grace of fine character that supports the human relationship such as between friends with friendship, teacher and student with respect, and family members with love. The aforementioned analysis offers the background of Guak, Jong-suk's sending Pogochonha-mun(<布告天下文>), and Parijang-jip(<巴里長書>) abroad. The most fundamental principle between nations is mutual respect on the basis of understanding of cultural diversity; for the respect toward others basically derives from a person's character to esteem nature and human beings.
