The nation that is relatively labor abundant will have a comparative advantage in the production of the relatively labor-intensive good, while the nation that is relatively capital abundant will have a comparative advantage in the production of the relatively capital-intensive good
In a labor abundant country, wages tend to be relatively low. For the labor-intensive product, costs will be relatively low. In the capital abundant country, costs of capital will be relatively low. For the capital-intensive products, costs will then be relatively low.
Technology is assumed to be identical across countries for the production of the same good. Factor endowments are assumed to be different in different countries
Different factor endowment leads to differences in the relative prices of the two goods and thus trade
