Research Report on Job Preference

Nowadays what kind of occupation do students prefer? Why do they want to get that job? I have asked to my friends what kind of job they want to have. For this survey I asked 18 people in my swimming club, 12 people in English Literature class and 11 friends from high school. I go swimming with my friends every weekend. After swimming I gave them a paper which has questionnaires about what kind of job they would like to have, and I asked my friend in English Literature class what kind of job they preferred after class in person, and I asked my friends from high school the same question on the internet, so altogether 41 friends gave me an answer to my question. 23 of the 41 answered "civil servant", 12 of them answer "company employee", and 6 answered businessman. Most of them replied that they`d like to be a civil servant, company worker or businessman,

First category is "civil servant" 23 answered. When I asked them they replied that they wanted to become a civil servant soon. Why did they want this kind of job? The reason was that they can work in a stable position with a good salary. In particular, working as a civil servant become more popular after IMF in Korea.

Second is "company employee" 12 answered. A special point was that their personality wasn`t suitable to work as a civil servant.
