1.1연구의 필요성
간호교육은 크게 인간과 환경을 전반적으로 이해하기 위한 이론교육과 이를 적용하고 체계화하기 위한 실습교육으로 구성되어 있다. 그 중 임상실습교육은 학교에서 배운 지식을 임상현장에서 실무에 적용해 볼 수 있는 기회이며, 한국간호교육평가원은 실습교육의 학습목표를 달성할 수 있도록 임상 실습시간을 1000시간 이상 이수하도록 규정하고 있다
최근 간호사의 감정노동과 같은 다양한 정신 심리적 문제들이 직무만족을 떨어뜨린다는 보고가 있으며 간호학생도 임상실습 과정에서 간호사 옆에서 실무행위를 하는 동안 간호사의 감정노동을 관찰하고 고객에 대한 감정노동 뿐만 아니라 실습과제 등 평가로 병원직원에 대한 감정노동까지 경험하게 된다. 이러한 학생들의 실습 과정에서 경험하는 감정은 전공만족도에 부정적인 영향을 줄 수 있다
전공 만족은 전공에 대해 느끼는 주관적 경험을 의미하며 전공 만족도는 진로의식 형성과 직업관에도 중요한 영향을 미친다
이에 본 연구는 간호대학생의 임상실습 스트레스와 감정노동이 각각 전공 만족도와 갖는 관련성을 규명하여 간호대학생의 전공 만족도를 높이기 위한 유용한 자료를 제공하기 위해 시작되었고 이를 근거로 간호대학생의 임상실습 스트레스를 감소시키고 임상실습과 감정노동으로 인한 스트레스를 해소 할 수 있는 다양한 프로그램을 개발하여 적용한다면 궁극적으로 간호대학생의 전공 만족도를 증진시키게 되어 간호학적 의의가 있을 것으로 생각된다.
