-OBJECTIVES
Calculate the friction loss of the fluid in the tube. Determine the correlation between the friction coefficient and the Reynolds number for the flow rate. Losses due to frictional forces between the surface friction and the wall shear and also to the pipe fittings are also obtained.
-THEORY
Whais is head loss ?
Last year for Prof.Sim in ‘Fluid flow’ i learn it. Friction is one of the most important factors in the flow of the process. and what is head loss? head loss is the earliest loss of speed when moving around a pipe or elsewhere. This serves to control the flow of fluid as it moves through the system. The loss of velocity is caused by the friction between the fluid and the pipe wall. This depends on the roughness of the pipe or wall and the angle of the pipe (45, 90). One more emphasis. The flow of this fluid is very important in the process, so head loss and friction are very important
