Fieldwork at Costa Logistics
Work is important on many levels and may provide meaning and focus for our lives. Work-related problems such as workplace injury, and stress can affect our physical, emotional and mental health.. This report will describe and assess Costa Logistics (CL) which was one of workplaces during the fieldwork period. We need to know the company’s nature of work to assess it. Also, this paper will discuss the possible workplace injuries found in this workplace with assessment of the physical, psychosocial, cognitive and communication demands of the job in CL.
The Organization
CL is one of many logistics companies in Australia and what they do is the process of planning and controlling the efficient, cost effective flow and storage of raw materials, in-process inventory, finished goods and related information from point of origin to point of consumption for the purpose of meeting customer requirements.
