Introduction1.0 What is Inflation ?
Inflation is defined as a continuing and rapid in the general level of prices for services and goods that measured as an annual percentage increase. Increasing rates of inflation highly is commonly associated with fast growing economies where the demand is higher than the country’s productive capacity.
1.1 History of inflation in china
Inflation's rate of china had risen rapidly between the 1930s and 1940s,when the china's economy was highly unstable.Because of a civil war in 1940s, the economic situation became worse. So, food prices soared andhit purchasing power. To overcome economic depravation, the china's government implemented a series of recuperative measures during in theearly 1950s and 1978. They are nationalization of banking institutions, currency reformsand the strict regulation of product prices and money supply. Owing to these policies, China succeeded in recovering price stability.
