Since Frankenstein was first published in 1818, it has been wrongly described as a tale of horror. Some of us still confuse the monster's name with the scientist Frankenstein. We have focused on the grotesque feature of the monster, while the main character, Frankenstein, has been somewhat sidelined. This thesis aims to examine the author's intention through the main characters, and the meaning of the monster from a feminist perspective.

Craving for such freedom seems vague and there is no specific goal, but it is one that in particular, it is intended to molt in women customary at the time.
Marriage of Jane Eyre is done as helper of one man, not just as the wife of one man. Rather than the wife of the man, she took a role as an equal standing with the men by helping him. Perhaps, it may mean that it has been standing in a better position or better than men. And importantly, such a place is where Jane Eyre directly selected herself. It was not determined by another factor.
