- The study of discourse is the study of relationship between language and its contexts of use. (Reference to particular context or situation)
- Discourse is concerned with speakers and listeners and normally, with extended stretches of language rather than single sentences.

Sometimes you will want to move from a focus on grammar vocabulary, pronunciation to more relaxed, natural ”conversation class”. Make sure the classroom is set up to facilitate this.
