Some believe that boys or girls schools are more conducive to education than co-education schools where boys and girls are taught together; others think that boys and girls benefit more if they are taught together.
Almost all students, when the time to enter a middle school or a high school is coming near, place their hope on having a crush on a person of the opposite sex. It is natural for them to have those expectations, and we call the education of pupils of both sexes together ‘Co-education.’ Not all students can go to co-education schools, and it might look fine for some parents because they think that single sex education schools are better than co-education schools in consideration of scholastic attainments.
In Korea, the ratio of co-education schools is about 60%.(In a 2012 Survey). At first, Co-Education was preferred by both parents and students but as time passes, many people do not prefer Co-Education for many reasons. On the other hand, there are still those who prefer a coed school. There are a variety of reasons to claim their. Which view do you agree with?
Someone insist that Co-education is better than single sex education based on several reasons.
Firstly, co-education contributes to the improvement of women’s social standing.
