Negative effects of the Internet
Sam checks his class assignments on Blackboard, on-line communicate system for students, and he looks up some information through search engine such as Google. His blackberry has access to AIM, which is internet messenger, so he can ask his classmates about assignments. He sends his complete assignments to his professor before due, and he checks Blackboard again to co firm his grade. This is usual feature of student life in this time of era. There has been a significant increase in the use of the internet world wide. And internet service is readily available for everyone due to rapid growth of computer technology. As a result, this has changed many people’s life styles. It is easy to find people like Sam. Anyone can use the internet service without worrying too much about the cost. Also, these technological developments make things convenient. However, excessive use of internet or internet addiction can lead to negative outcomes such as poor performance at school or work, physical pain, psychological problems, or social isolation.
