본문내용

중국이 개혁 개방을 통하여 이룩한 급속한 성장을 바라보는 이들에게는 중국이 시장 메카니즘을 받아들여 얼마만큼이나 사회주의경제와 병행할 수 있을까에 대한 관심이 높을 수밖에 없다. 사회주의는 평등을 지향한다는 이념체제하에서 그 뿌리로부터 시장을 억제하고 계획경제를 추진하기 때문이다. 이렇게 시장과 사회주의가 병립될 수 있느냐라는 물음은 당연히 사회주의 정치경제체제의 전환 가능성에 관심을 집중케 된다. 시장기제가 활성화되어 경제체제 전환이 상당한 수준에까지 이루어진다면 정치체제까지에도 영향을 미칠 수 있다는 전제에서 제기된 물음이다.
