부모-자녀 간의 의사소통과 청소년의 스마트폰 과의존에 대한 체계적 문헌고찰 (Systematic Review of the Relationship Between Parent-child Communication and Smartphone Overdependence among Adolescents)

초록

Purpose: The purpose of this systematic review was to examine the correlation between parent-child communication and smartphone overdependence in adolescents. Methods: A systematic search was undertaken to identify all relevant studies published from 2018 to 2022 in Korean on the correlation between parent-child communication and smartphone overdependence in adolescents. Results: Of the 61 articles initially identified, we chose 9 for review. Our findings revealed that positive parent-child communication was negatively associated with adolescent smartphone overdependence.
Conversely, negative parent-child communication was positively related to adolescent smartphone overdependence.
Additionally, communication of the two parents with a child had significantly similar relationships with adolescent smartphone overdependence. Conclusion: This review provided evidence on the relationship between parent-child communication and adolescent smartphone overdependence.
Findings can help develop and implement evidence-based training intervention for preventing adolescent smartphone overdependence. This intervention can help parents of adolescents not only recognize and eliminate negative communication, but also learn and improve effective positive communication.
