Q의 서사적 특성과 공동체 (The Narrative Character of Q and Its community)

초록

최근 Q연구의 동향이 달라지고 있다. 본문재구성의 성과에 힘입어 학자들은 Q가 다양한 문학적 형식들은 물론 서사적 일관성을 갖는 복음서라고 주장한다. 지혜말씀 수집물이라는 오랜 틀을 깬 이러한 변화는 Q의 문학 형태, 담론의 성격, 특히 배후의 사회상까지 유기적으로 연관되는 통전적 해석을 가능하게 한다. 특히 특정 문구나 단어에 의존해서 Q의 담지자들을 재구성했던 연구방법과는 대척점에 서는 것이다. 약 35단락으로 형성된 Q는 “오실 그분”에 대한 서사로 구조화될 수 있고, 거기 내재된 서사적 구조는 불의한 지배세력에 대한 저항과 하나님 나라에 대한 희망을 드러낸다. 이 저항과 희망의 문학적 차원은 곧 Q의 배경이 되는 1세기 갈릴리의 역사 사회적 상황을 반영한다. 최근 갈릴리 고고학과 사회학이 밝히는 바대로 1세기 갈릴리 촌락은 기이한 정치판도와 삼중의 조세로 생존의 위기에 직면했고 Q는 종말론적 언어 속에 그에 대한 저항을 표출한다. Q는 이러한 저항적 에토스 속에서도 상호호혜와 빚 탕감을 이룬 하나님 나라 운동의 정황을 보여준다. 주의 말씀 선포의 주역은 선교파송본문(Q 10:2-11)의 일꾼들로 이들은 실제 촌락에서 촌락민들과 동일한 조건하에 있으면서 동시에 Q 공동체를 대표할 수 있는 인물유형이다. 이들은 이적이 아닌, 주의 말씀을 선포함으로, 신앙적 차원에서는 '하나님의 자녀됨'을 실천하고, 사회적 차원에서는 촌락의 삶을 회복시키는 견인차의 역할을 감당했다. 이들은 "하나님 나라”는 "용서와 자비(Q 6:20-49)”로 오는 "자비로운 아버지의 나라(6:36)”임을 선포했던 것이다.

영어초록

The study to be undertaken in this essay is present Q, as a narrative which includes the social context of Galilee in the first century, as well as its own theological view of kingdom of God. Though Q is a hypothetical document the argument for its existence is supported by the theoric evidence such as verbatim agreement and the common sequence found in both Luke and Matthew, which has been proved by the reconstruction of Q. While Q is generally regarded as a simple saying collection of Jesus, it is in fact a reconstructed completion which include various literary forms such as small narrative, parable, prophetic sayings, dialogue, and debate. Those forms are organized as one complete story of "Jesus the coming one"who represents the eschatological hope of Galileans and so called the Q people. The narrative form of Q necessarily contains the literary unity which reveals the faith and reality of the people who made it. When the attention is given its narrative character, Q shows the inner structure that comprises people's hope and spiritual support for resistance. The resistance inspired by Q is deeply related with the social context of Galilean villages of the first century, as well as the actual Q people. Considering the result of recent historical, social researches of the first century Galilee, the poor in Q can be interpreted as the peasants of Galilean villages. they, as subsistence producers, were part of the rather wider group of socially economically disadvantaged people living under the severe constraints of three layers of rulers and heavy economical oppression. Q reflects the poverty, hunger and debt of those times in its words and expressions. Futhermore, Q can be interpreted as dealing with that problem and make suggestions on how to solve the matter. In the Jesus blessing discourse of Q 6:20-49, Q told about forgiveness and mercy which can be interpreted as a cancellation of debt. According to that interpretation the blessing of Jesus is related to a recovery of solidarity among village people through helping each other through a cancellation of debt among themselves as caused by heavy taxes. Therefore, both the historical dimension of Q and the theological one can be meet in the narrative of Q. The people of Q is represented by the workers(oi`. evrga,tai) who had appeared three times in the Q' mission speech(10:2-16) who were the proper characters for the words and expression of Q. They seemed to charge both of work and mission, mainly performed by Lord's word not by miracles. Q reveals that they proclaimed the kingdom of God is came with doing "mercy and forgiveness" what their father wanted among them, which is the meaning of kingdom of God in Q.
