청소년활동시설 이용경험과 참여활동이 청소년활동정책 인지도에 미치는 영향: 청소년활동 지원정도의 조절된 매개효과 (The Effects of Youth Facility Use Experience and Participation Activities on Awareness of Youth Policies: Moderated Mediating Effects of Support for Youth Activities)

초록

배경: 본 연구는 청소년정책참여에 있어서 청소년들의 정책인지도 제고를 위해 청소년활동과 관련된 청소년의 시설이용경험, 참여활동, 청소년활동 지원정도의 중요성을 인식하고, 이에 대한 대책을 모색하기 위한 필요성에서 시작되었다.
목적: 본 연구는 청소년활동시설 이용경험과 청소년활동정책 인지도의 관계에서 참여활동의 매개효과와 청소년활동 지원정도의 조절된 매개효과를 살펴보고자 하는 목적에서 수행되었다.
방법: 한국청소년정책연구원에서 수행한 ‘2018 청소년활동 참여실태조사 연구’에 참여한 초등학생부터 고등학생에 이르는 청소년 9,041명의 데이터를 SPSS 27.0과 SPSS PROCESS macro 4.1을 활용하여 분석하였다.
결과: 첫째, 청소년활동시설 이용경험은 청소년활동정책 인지도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 청소년활동시설 이용경험과 청소년활동정책 인지도의 관계를 참여활동이 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 청소년활동시설 이용경험과 참여활동의 관계를 청소년활동 지원정도가 조절하는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 청소년활동시설 이용경험과 청소년활동정책 인지도의 관계에 있어서 청소년활동 지원정도는 참여활동의 매개효과를 조절하는 것으로 나타났다.
시사점: 청소년활동정책 인지도 제고를 위해서는 청소년활동시설 이용경험, 참여활동의 확대를 적극적으로 추진하며, 청소년활동에 대한 가정, 지역사회 등의 적극적인 관심과 지원이 필요하다.

영어초록

Background: This study began with the need to recognize the importance of youth facility use experience, participation activities, and support for youth activities in order to enhance youth's awareness of policies in youth policy participation, and to seek countermeasures for them.
Purpose: This study was conducted with the purpose of examining the mediating effect of participation activities and the moderated mediating effect of the degree of support for youth activities in the relationship between experience of using youth activity facilities and awareness of youth activity policies.
Methodology: SPSS 27.0 and SPSS PROCESS macro 4.1 were analyzed using SPSS 27.0 and SPSS PROCESS macro 4.1 for 9,041 adolescents ranging from elementary school students to high school students who participated in the ‘2018 Youth Activity Participation Survey Study’ conducted by the National Youth Policy Institute.
Findings: First, it was found that the experience of using youth activity facilities had an effect on the awareness of youth activity policies. Second, it was found that participation activities mediated the relationship between the experience of using youth activity facilities and awareness of youth activity policies. Third, it was found that the degree of support for youth activities moderated the relationship between the experience of using youth activity facilities and participation activities. Fourth, in the relationship between experience of using youth activity facilities and awareness of youth activity policies, it was found that the degree of support for youth activities moderated the mediating effect of participation activities.
Conclusions: In order to raise awareness of youth activity policies, it is necessary to actively promote the expansion of youth activity facility use experience, participation activities, and active interest and support from families and local communities for youth activities.
