지하철 역사공간 안내 체계 디자인 개발 사례 연구 (A study on the case about developing of subway station information guidance system)

초록

(연구배경 및 목적) 현재 대중교통 사용자 환경 개선을 위한 안전디자인 관련 법률이 부재한 상황에서 기존 시행되고 있는 관련 정책과 연계, 확장하여 실질적으로 운영 될 수 있는 기반 마련이 필요하다. 따라서 교통약자에 대한 배려와 안전성 향상이라는 큰 범위의 방향성을 바탕으로 모두를 위하여, 인천만의 가치를 창출하고 시민들의 참여를 통한 디자인 가이드라인 개발이 요구되었다. 본 논문은 이용자의 편의 증진을 위한 통합 안내체계의 리뉴얼 프로젝트로서 읽기 편하고, 찾기 쉬운 안내사인 연구를 통해 인천도시철도 1호선 통합안내사인 표준디자인을 위한 혁신 구현안을 제시하는 것이다. 따라서 지하철 역사 공간 사인체계에 대한 표준화를 통해 정보를 쉽게, 누구에게나, 정확히, 보이는 배려디자인의 추구가 필요하다는 개념을 실효성 있는 프로젝트로 제안한 사례이다. (연구방법) 표준디자인 개발 방향 및 기본계획 부분에서는 추진 체계를 기반으로 인천도시지하철도의 현황 조사, 문제점 도출, 개선 방향 제시, 시민(사용자)의 참여 유도를 통한 의견 수렴을 진행하였다. DDI이용자 심층 인터뷰, 관계자 그룹 인터뷰, 공모전 및 포럼, 이용자 설문조사, 현황조사, 문헌조사 진행을 통해 보다 시민의 참여를 통한 다양한 소통 방안을 마련하였다. 특히 D.D.I 사용자 분석을 진행하여 보다 다양한 이용자를 배려하는 유니버설 디자인을 도출하고자 하였다. (결과) 디자인 개발 및 가이드라인 구축 부분에서는 개발 대상 시설물별 디자인 제시, 기능성과 안전성을 고려하여 일관성 있는 사인체계 개발을 과업의 목표로 진행되었다. 쾌적한 도시철도 정보체계를 위한 안내사인 체계 10원칙을 제시하여 인천 도시철도 역사 공간의 통합안내사인 체계의 기준을 마련하였다. 또한 전략 특화를 통해 도출된 연구의 결과로서 인식하기 쉬운, 연결이 되는, 누구나 알기 쉬운, 일관성 있는 사인을 인천의 아이텐티티를 형성 할 수 있는 구체적인 방안으로 구축하였다. (결론) 보기 명확한 디자인을 통한 가독 지수의 향상, 명확한 안내를 통한 인지 지수의 향상, 색채, 픽토그램의 특화를 통해 이해하기 쉬운 이해지수의 향상, 누구나 사용하기 편한 사용지수 향상을 궁극적인 목적으로 인천도시철도 1호선 통합안내사인 표준디자인을 구체화, 현실화 하였으며, 이러한 삶의 질을 향상 시키는 표준화 디자인의 선도적인 대안을 마련한 것에 본 연구의 의의가 있다.

영어초록

(Background and Purpose) At present, there is no law on safety design for improving the environment of public transportation users. It is necessary to establish a foundation that can be operated in practice by linking with and extending the relevant policies. Therefore, the direction of the design guidelines is to consider the transport and traffic facilities of persons with disabilities and to improve the safety of everyone. It is required to develop design guidelines through the creation of Incheon's own values and citizen participation. This research is the renewal project of the integrated guidance system for the enhancement of user convenience. The goal of the project is to study a guide who is easy to read and easy to find and it is to implement standard design, which is an integrated guide for Incheon Metropolitan Rapid Transit Line 1. The information was easily and accurately applied to everyone by standardizing the subway sign system. (Method) In the direction of development of standard design and basic plan, we conducted a survey on the status of Incheon Metropolitan Subway, drew problems, presented improvement directions, and conducted opinion surveys through inducement of citizens(user) to participate. Through in-depth interviews with DDI users, interviews with concerned groups, contests and forums, user surveys, status surveys, and literature surveys, various communication measures were developed through citizen participation. In particular, this project applied D.D.I user analysis as a way to implement safety and universal design to care for various users. (Results) Consistent sign system development was developed in the design development and guideline section, taking into account facility design, functionality and safety. The criteria for the integrated information service system of Incheon Metropolitan Rapid Transit Station were prepared by presenting the 10 principles of the system, which is a guide for the pleasant urban railroad information system. As a result of the research derived through the specialization of the strategy, a coherent sign that is easy to recognize, connected, and easy to understand for everyone was constructed as a concrete way to form the identity of Incheon. (Conclusion) Improve the reading index through a clear design and awareness through clear guidance. The specialization of colors and pictograms improves comprehension. Standard design, an integrated guide for Incheon Metropolitan Rapid Transit Line 1, was formulated with the ultimate aim of enhancing usability that is easy for anyone to use. Through this study, there is an important significance in developing leading alternatives to standard design that improve the quality of life.
