러시아 이주 고려인의 노래에 담긴 서정성 (Lyricism in Songs of the Migratory Koreans of Russia)

초록

1860년대 초에 시작된 러시아 극동지역으로의 한인 이주와 재이주의 역사는 러시아의 소수민족에 대한 억압 정책에 따라 수많은 고난과 고통을 수반하면서 진행되었다. 고통스러운 생존 기반 속에서 불리어진 고려인들의 노래는 한민족 역사의 일면을 증거해주는 자료일 뿐만 아니라 이주민들의 고통과 슬픔, 희망, 꿈, 의지 등을 내포한 주요한 음악적ㆍ문학적 유산이다. 본 논의는 러시아 이주민의 노래에 담긴 서정성을 분석함으로써 그들의 내면적 정감의 세계가 지닌 의미와 의의를 밝히는 데 그 연구 목적이 있다.
러시아 이주 고려인들의 노래에 담긴 서정성은 그 내용 면에서 고향, 사랑, 자연 등 크게 세 가지로 나누어볼 수 있다. 첫째. 고향의 향수를 노래한 작품에서 가장 두드러지는 특징으로 <이별가>류가 많다는 점을 들 수 있다. 이 같은 고향노래에는 고향에 대한 간절한 그리움과 떠난 자의 고달픔, 소외감 등이 표현되어 있으며 아울러 정처 없이 떠도는 디아스포라적 삶의 비애와 불안감이 노래로 반복되어 나타난다. 한편 <고향노래>류에는 고향에 대한 '낙원의식'이 동반되기도 한다.
사랑의 정감을 노래한 작품에서 가장 큰 비중을 차지하는 것은 이별의 슬픔과 떠나간 님에 대한 그리움의 서정이다. 더불어 고려인의 사랑노래의 또 다른 특징 가운데 하나는 처녀 총각의 연애를 명랑하고 유쾌한 가사로 드러내거나 사랑의 감정을 노골적으로 표현한 노래가 적지 않다는 점이다.
고려인들의 자연서정은 그들의 생업 기반인 꼴호즈에서의 농업활동 혹은 고본질과 깊게 연관된다. 생활과 노동과 자연이 하나로 융화되어 있는 것이 그들의 자연인식이라 할 수 있다. 이들 노래는 기쁨과 활기, 보람, 젊음과 같은 내적 정서를 동반하고 있다는 점이 그 특징이다.

영어초록

The history of migrating and re-migrating the Koreans(Корё сарам) to Far Eastern Russia from the early 1860s had accompanied them with multitudinous ordeals and pains forced by repressive policies on the minor nations of Russia. The multitudinous songs sung by the Koreans on conditions of their painful lives have been not only evidences of an aspect of histories of the whole Korean but also important musical and literary inheritances that had contained pains, sorrows, hopes, dreams, and intentions of the migrants. This study has purposed to illuminate implications and significances of the inward emotional world of the Korean migrants of Russia (as followed by the Soviet Union) by analyzing the lyricism in songs of them.
In the pont of contents, the lyricism in songs of them had largely consisted of three elements as homeland, love, and nature. The most remarkable characteristic of songs about nostalgias for homelands of them had been the fact that many of the songs had belonged to the kind of ‘tearful parting songs.’ These had expressed not only their arden homesickness, weary migrant lives, and alien emotions, but also repeatedly pains and anxieties of their wandering lives alike as of the Diaspora. On the other hand, these had been accompanied with a ‘consciousness of paradise’ memorizing the homeland.
In songs about their emotions of love, the lyricism had been expressed mostly as the sorrow of tearful partings and the longing for parted lovers and familiars. And one of the other aspects of the songs had been a characteristic of which a considerable number of them had described love affaires of virgins and bachelors with cheerful and pleasure words, or expressed plainly their amorous feelings.
The natural lyricism in them had deeply related with agricultural labors of the Koreans in the kolkhoz as a base of their lives. It is to be said that their lives and labors had been merged in their recognition about nature. These sung by them had have a characteristic being accompanied with their inner emotions as joy, activity, fruitfulness, youth, etc.
It is the fact that the pains as of the Diaspora had been intrinsic in the homesickness or in the afflictions of tearful parting in songs of the Koreans. But it must also be a remarkable fact that another one lyric stem had been formed by the positive lyric world expressing bright, cheerful, and healthful inwards of them.
