초록

해방 이후의 중국 조선족 사회는 중국건국을 시작으로 주요 정치이념적 변곡점(한국전쟁, 반우파투쟁, 대약진운동, 문화대혁명, 개혁개방 등)과 함께하면서 민족의 역사, 사회, 문화를 유지/계승해 왔다는 점에서 특별하다. 연변조선족자치주의 각종 커뮤니티, 교육기관, 문화지형은 그러한 조선족 사회의 자주적 삶과 정체성을 보여준 지점일 것이다.
특히 해방 이후의 한글 문예잡지(『연변문학』, 『송화강』, 『문학과 예술』, 『도라지』, 『장백산』, 『북두성』, 『은하수』, 『갈매기』 등)와 신문 매체(『연변일보』, 『료녕조선문보』, 『흑룡강신문』, 『길림신문』 등)은 조선족 사회를 대변해 온 대표적인 담론공간이다. 대표적인 조선족 작가로서는 김학철을 비롯해 리근전, 김창걸, 임효원, 최정연, 김순기, 림원춘, 윤일산, 리원길 등이 있고, 그들의 작품은 공산체제에서 조선족 사회의 다양한 정치이념, 사회문화적 지점을 얽어냈다고 할 수 있다. 특히 일제강점기의 항일민족투쟁의 역사적 현장을 서사화하고 민족정서를 근간으로 구심력과 원심력으로 변주되는 디아스포라 의식까지 다양한 주제의식을 선보인다. 최근의 이촌향도(離村向都) 현상과 배금주의, 성/젠더, 살인, 폭력 등 현대사회의 각종 병리현상까지 주제화한다는 점도 주목된다.
이러한 조선족 문학의 주제의식은 한국의 국문학계에서 보는 시각과 달리 공산체제의 지역성을 근간으로 남북 문학과는 다른 독자성으로 자리매김된다. 비록 “문학양식에서는 사회주의 이데올로기에 고착되었던 관계로 연변의 우리 동포 문학은 그 주제와 소재 면에서 모국의 독자들을 얻는데 일정한 한계성”이 있지만, 냉전시대의 국가중심주의에서 탈피한 글로벌시대의 현재적 지점은 역사적으로나 문학사적으로 주목하게 된다. 그리고 이러한 조선족 문학의 변용현상은 중국의 현대문학을 비롯해 남북한 문학, 동아시아 문학, 코리안 디아스포라 문학, 세계문학과의 관계 속에서 앞으로도 확장/변용될 것임을 시사하고 있다.

영어초록

After liberation, Chinese ethnic Korean society has maintained/ continued the history, society, and culture of the people, along with major political ideological inflection points (Korean War, anti-rightist struggle, Great Leap Forward Movement, Cultural Revolution, Reform and Opening). The various communities, educational institutions, and cultural topography of the Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture may be the points that showed the independent life and identity of such a Korean-Chinese society.
In particular, Korean literary magazines after liberation (Yeonbyeon Literature, Songhwagang, Literature and Art, Doraji, Jangbaeksan, Bukduseong, Eunhasu, Seagull, etc.) and newspaper media (Yeonbyeon Ilbo, Ryonyeong Joseon Munbo, and Gilim Newspaper) represent Joseon society. Representative Korean- Chinese writers include Kim Hak-cheol, Lee Geun-jeon, Kim Chang-gul, Lim Hyo-won, Choi Jeong-yeon, Kim Soon-ki, Lim Won-chun, Yoon Il-san, and Lee Won-gil, and their works intertwined various political ideologies and socio-cultural branches of Korean-Chinese society in the communist system. In particular, it narrates the historical scene of the anti-Japanese national struggle in Japanese colonial era and presents various themes, including the Diaspora ritual, which is transformed into centripetal and centrifugal based on national sentiment. It is also noteworthy that the recent phenomenon of Ichonhyangdo and various pathological phenomena in modern society, such as mammonism, sex/gender, murder, and violence, are subject to the theme.
Unlike the perspective seen in the Korean literature community, this theme consciousness of Korean-Chinese literature is established as a unique character different from that of North and South Korean literature based on the locality of the communist system. Although "Korean literature in Yanbian has certain limitations in gaining readers of the home country in terms of its subject and subject matter," the current point of the global era, which broke away from Cold War state-centeredism, is noted historically and in literary history. In addition, this transformation of Korean-Chinese literature suggests that it will continue to be expanded/transformed in relation to modern Chinese literature, inter-Korean literature, East Asian literature, Korean diaspora literature, and world literature.
