    초록

    Teaching materials Jingang of Kyeongyeon in the reign of King Seong-Jong played a role to encourage the king to learn the theory and experience of national administration which were necessary to execute national administration, and especially, the teaching materials Jingang of the king made harmonized, unified consciousness formed by being the model of all the people in the society where politics was not separated from education or politics and education were united. The establishment of the self achievement of the king through Kyeongyeon Jingang teaching materials education meant the construction of the ideal country where the ruling method of prosperous years was adopted by the upper and manners got beautiful by the lower. The implications of Kyeongyeon teaching materials Jingang in the reign of King Seong-Jong of the Joseon Dynasty can be summarized as follows.
    First, it was the selection of teaching materials focusing on the learners. Jingang teaching materials in the reign of King Seong-Jong were selected focusing on the learner, king. In the process of selecting teaching materials, Kyeongyoen officials preferentially selected the contents which were necessary for the study of being a king, asked whether the king would study them or not of him, and then promoted them by obtaining the sanction of the king. It was well proved by the points that the name of teaching materials and the order of progression by dynasty were not regular, and that the formal education course which was necessary in the procedure of selecting Jingang teaching materials didn't exist.
    Second, it was the operation of teaching materials focusing on the practice. Jingang teaching materials education, in terms of Sugi(修己), focused on the natural law(天理)and humanism(人性), Chiji(致知)and Jeongsim(正心), Jonyangseongchal(存養省察), and the suppression of Buddism and heterodox, and in terms of ruling people(治人), focused on the cultivation of ruling power, the understanding and application of national administration, educational politics, and the build-up of a democratic country. All these were the results of the operation of teaching materials focusing on the practice.
    Third, it was the application of various Jingang methods focusing on teaching materials. In Kyeongyoen in the reign of King Seong-Jong, through various Jingang methods, the discussion on the contents of teaching materials and all the matters of national administration were actively progressed. Putting the forms of Kyeongyoen Jingang together, it can be roughly classified into Jingangs of an individual, integration, and cooperation, and as Jingang methods according to the contents of Jingang, Jingangs of explanation, questioning-answering, discussion, comparison, explanatory notes, reading, and repetition were mobilized.
    In modern education, it is necessary for us to find how to put to practical use Jingang so that the selection of teaching materials, the operation of teaching materials focusing on practice, and the application of various Jingang methods focusing on teaching materials, which appeared in the Kyeongyoen teaching materials Jingang in the reign of King Seong-Jong, may be applied to the sites.
    Also, it is necessary for us to make use of that as the basic materials for the objects, contents and methods of education of the new education course, and to devise the plans to use that as major teaching materials, such as a studying of teaching materials, the principles of education, and education methods of the college of education.
