프랑스 문화재 복원교육의 융합특성에 관한 연구 -INP(프랑스 국립문화재학교) 교육체제를 중심으로- (Study on Convergence Education of Restoration Education of French Cultural Heritage -INP (Institut National Patrimoine) Focusing on Education System -)

초록

문화재는 문화적 · 예술적 · 학술적 가치를 지닌 역사적 산물이다. 이런 문화재를 복원하는 일은 과학, 예술, 역사, 문화, 미술과 같은 다양한 학문 분야의 전문 지식과 기술이 융합되어야 하는 특수한 분야이다. 따라서 문화재 복원전문가를 양성하는 교육은 융합교육을 지향해야 한다. 본 연구는 세계적인 문화유산을 보유하고 있는 프랑스의 문화재 복원 교육 사례를 통해 복원전문가 양성을 위한 융합교육 시스템을 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해, 문화재 복원과 융합교육에 대한 개념과 관련 이론을 선행연구들을 통해 살펴보았다. 이러한 이론적 근거를기반으로 INP 문화재 복원학과 교육 체제의 현황과 특징을 분석하였다. INP 문화재 복원학과의 교육체제 현황분석을 통해 네 가지의 교육 특성을 밝혀낼 수 있었다. INP 문화재 복원학과는 첫째, 실제적인 현장 경험과 많은 실습을 통해 전문성을 강화하였으며, 둘째, 미디어 리터러시 능력을 배양하여 전문능력 외에도 소통능력도겸비한 전문가로 양성하고 있었다. 셋째는 국제무대에서도 통용될 글로벌 역량을 중시하였으며, 넷째로는 이러한 능력들을 배양하기 위해 다양한 형태의 융합교육을 실현하고 있었다. 이러한 네 가지의 교육 특성을 통해INP 문화재 복원학과 교육체제에 내재된 융합교육의 세 가지 양상을 확인할 수 있었다. 첫째는 전문 지식의 융합이며, 둘째는 경계의 융합이고, 셋째는 경험의 융합이었다. 이상과 같은 연구를 통해 우리나라 문화재 복원분야의 교육과 연구의 다양성이 확보되는데 일조하고자 하였으며, 국내 조형예술 기반의 미술대학 학생들이 지닌 우수한 실기능력이 융합교육을 통해 문화재 복원분야에서 발휘 될 수 있는 계기를 마련하고자 하였다.

영어초록

Cultural heritages are historical products which incorporate cultural, artistic and academic values.
Restoring these cultural heritages is a unique field in which needs professional knowledge andtechniques from a variety of academic fields, such as science, art, history, culture, and art.
Therefore, the education cultivating experts in the restoration of cultural heritages should beoriented towards a convergence education. This research aims to explore the convergenceeducation system to nurture restoration specialists in France through examples of restorationeducation in France which possesses world cultural heritage. For this purpose, the concept andassociated theory of restoration of cultural heritages and convergence education were exploredthrough prior studies. Based on these theoretical evidences, the status and characteristics of theINP cultural heritage restoration department and education system were analyzed. The analysisof the educational system status of INP revealed four educational characteristics. Firstly, the INPCultural Properties Restoration Department enhanced its professionalism through fieldexperiences and numerous practical exercises. Secondly, it cultivated media literacy ability anddeveloped communication expertise besides the professional skills. Thirdly, characteristic was theemphasis on the global capabilities that would also be used internationally, and the fourth wasimplementing a variety of convergence education programs to cultivate these capabilities. Wewere able to identify three aspects of the INP Cultural Properties Restoration Department and theconvergence education built into the education system. The first was the convergence ofprofessional knowledge, the second was the convergence of boundaries, and the third was theconvergence of experiences. The following research is intended to help Korea secure diverseeducation and research in the field of restoration of cultural heritages. Through convergenceeducational system, we wish that local Korean art students based in plastic arts who possessexcellent practical skills would be able to further advance themselves in the field of restoringcultural heritages.
