초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze the consumption pattern of the members of amateur baseball club when they purchased baseball equipments. This study focused on the criteria for purchase, the route of purchase, and the tendency to purchase of them. The subject of this study was 18 members of an amateur baseball club and the data was collected by participant observation and in-depth interview in their activity and text analysis of on-line community participation. The main results as follows: First, the most decisive criteria of members of amateur baseball club in purchase baseball equipments were a high price brand awareness when they purchased the required equipments like gloves and bats or cheap prices when they purchased the optional equipments like batting gloves and all kinds of protectors. Second, the main route of members of amateur baseball club in purchase baseball equipments were to visit the professional shop where they could obtain a technical information about baseball equipments or to order on-line when they wanted easy and convenient way. Third, they gradually tended to purchase the same color and design, this tendency showed their sense of belonging and identity that they were a team.
