직장인 1인 가구를 위한 반려동물 공동돌봄 서비스디자인 연구 (A Study on Service Design for Collaborative Caring for Pets Owned by Single Working Households)

초록

라이프스타일 변화와 인식변화, 고령화 등으로 인해1인 가구는 증가하는 추세를 보이며 국내 반려동물의시장 규모도 함께 커져가고 있다. 사람들은 반려동물과의 교감을 통해 심신의 안정을 찾게 되었고 사랑하고 의지하며 상생하고 있다. 특히 다른 가족형태 보다30대 1인가구가 반려동물을 키우는 비율이 가장 높은것으로 나타났다. 이들은 대부분 수입을 위해 직장과자택에서 일을 하고 있으며 인터넷과 스마트폰의 사용도가 높다. 소유주가 홀로 반려동물을 돌봐야하는상황에서 발생하는 어려움은 많으나 시스템과 서비스가 충분하지 못한 실정이다.
이 연구는 서비스 디자인 방법론을 활용하여 1인가구가 안정적이고 지속적으로 반려동물과 함께 살아가는 것을 돕기 위함이다. 연구방법은 디자인 카운슬의더블 다이아몬드 프로세스 모델을 적용하였다. 문헌연구와 설문조사, 심층인터뷰를 통해 인사이트를 발견하고 3가지 핵심이슈를 도출하였다. 1) 반려동물과 주인에게 익숙한 환경을 제공하여 신뢰를 줄 수 있는 공동돌봄 환경이 필요하다. 2) 현재의 입양구조는 반려동물의 사회화 기회가 박탈되고 있으므로 주인과 동물에게 교육을 제공해야한다. 3) 저렴하고 믿을 만한의료기관, 반려동물훈련기관, 애견카페 등 조합에 가입되어 있는 전문 기관과의 연계가 가능하게 해야 한다. 지역을 중심으로 이루어진 온라인과 오프라인 플랫폼을 통해 반려동물 소유주들 간의 커뮤니티를 형성하고, 동물기관과 연계할 수 있는 시스템으로 만들었다.
본 연구는 이해관계자들이 환경에 따른 협동창조를설계하는 사회관계적 공동체 가치를 지니고 있다. 1인가구가 경험하고 있는 특별한 환경, 지역을 중심으로한 이웃 구성원들의 도움과 소통, 사회문화 근거리 포용을 통한 경험 서비스 시스템을 제안했다는 점에 의의가 있다.

영어초록

Due to lifestyle changes, awareness changes, and aging, the number of one-person household tends to increase, and the market size of domestic companion animals is also growing. People have been able to find mental and physical stability through communion with their companion animals, and are loving, relying, and coexisting. In particular, one-person household in his/her thirties showed the highest rate of raising companion animals than other family types. Most of them work in the workplace and at home for income, and have frequent use of the Internet and smartphones.
The owners have many difficulties taking care of the companion animal alone, but care systems and services are not sufficient.
The purpose of this study is to help in single household stably and steadily coexist with his/her companion animals by applying service design methodology.
The research methodology was applied by Design Council’s Double Diamond process model. Insights were discovered and 3 three core issues were identified by way of literature research, surveys, and in-depth interviews. 1) By providing familiar surroundings to companion animals and the owners, it is necessary to build shared care surroundings for confidence. 2) The current adoption structure deprives the animal’s socialization opportunities and some education to owners and animals should provided. 3) It should be possible to contact with professional organizations affiliated with the association such as inexpensive and reliable medical institutions, companion animal training institutions, dog cafes. An online and offline platform centered around the region formed a community between the owners and made a system that could connect with animal organizations.
This study has a social-relational community value with which interest groups design collaborative creation in accordance with environments. This study has a significance to suggest the experience service system through social and cultural local engagement and help and communication of neighbors in the special environment, the neighborhood in which the single person is experiencing.
