한국 현대 희곡에 나타난 소통에 대한 욕망과 굿의 미학* ―「산씻김」과 「오구-죽음의 형식」을 대상으로 (The Desire to Communicate Revealed through Modern Play of Korea and Aesthetics of the Gut)

초록

Through acceptance of the gut displayed in modern play, this study observed in what ways human desires are manifested in circumstances in which communication is cut off focusing on Sanssitgim and Ogu-Forms of Death.
Until recently, the two works have been handled from the aspect of formalities of dramas and not many studies that analyze their thematic aspects have been conducted.
This study focuses on the fact that the similarities between gut and plays is that they both reflect and interpret the social realities of the applicable time period and that they reveal what they wish to communicate using theatrical methods.
Chapter 2 focuses on Sanssitgim by Lee Hyeon Hwa and its reenactment of the darkness and violence of the early 1980’s as well as its reenactment of political social circumstances in which communication is severed, through a new form of the gut. Sanssitkim revealed that human desires for communication is recovered through cruel awareness and that human liberation is pursued through theatrical energy of the gut.
In chapter through, focus was placed on the fact that communication with reality is attempted by emphasizing on similarities of the gut and plays to display the globally amicable atmosphere of the 90’s through “Ogu-forms of death.”
“Ogu-Forms of Death” attempts taking into pieces after-life and the current life and reflects the intrinsic human desire to reconcile by resolving dilemma between self and others.
Through this study, it was revealed that “sanssitgim” and “ogu-forms of death” accept the gut in the play to reflect the realities of the present day and to express the human desire for communication.
