초록

Managers who control an organization of private guards are concerned about to what extent employees are satisfied with the organization which they belong to. In previous studies, however, the satisfaction was expressed in terms of job satisfaction, job involvement, or organizational efficiency and not many studies reflected the concept of organizational satisfaction.
Paying attention to this respect, this study purposed to develop a scale to measure a degree of organizational satisfaction of private guards.
The concept of organizational satisfaction can be interpreted as a broad concept integrating job satisfaction, organizational involvement and organizational efficiency.
In accordance with the course of developing questionnaire, first, meetings with experts were implemented by referring to previous studies. Then a pilot test and a main test were conducted in order. After collecting questionnaire, questionnaire scale was developed through factor analysis based on exploratory factor analysis(EFA).
As a result of factor analysis and confidence analysis, some items and factors were insufficient in explanatory adequacy and they were eliminated. Then 22 questions were developed including six factors such as leadership satisfaction, essence of duty, organizational involvement, promotion satisfaction, human relationship and salary as sub-concepts which can measure organizational satisfaction.
