웅진 백제5왕 추모제례 제관 복식 고증 (Historical Study on the Official Costume of the Ungjin Baekje 5-Kings Memorial Service)

In this study, we reviewed Baekje’s ancestral worship rites and ascertained and reproduced the ritual costumes of the king and the other officials. The current <Ungjin Baekje 5-Kings Memorial Service> is a large event, and the officials participating in the memorial service were sixth-rank and above, and their costumes except the king’s were confirmed to be identical. In the case of the Kwan Mo(冠帽), the basic type is a Conical hat(弁形帽), the shape and color of which referenced that of King Mureung’s Standardized Portrait. The Choheongwan(初獻官) had gold flower-shaped ornaments(金 花冠飾) on the black Kwan Mo, and the Aheongwan(亞獻官), Jongheongwan(終獻官) and Jibsagwan(執事官) had silver flower-shaped ornaments(銀花冠飾) for distinction. The shape of the Po(袍) referenced the shape shown in King Mureung’s Standardized Portrait, and its color was based on the colour harmony principle from the mutual conflict of the five elements theory, which was confirmed in the costume colors of the <Yangjikgongdo> Baekje envoy. The Choheongwan Po`s color was purple, and the edge`s color was Byeogsaeg(碧色). The Aheongwan, Jongheongwan and Jibsagwan Po`s color was Gangsaeg(絳色), and the edge`s color was green. As decoration of the edge of the Po, the Manchomun of gold color as utilized for the purple Po, and the Manchomun of silver color, for the Gangsaeg Po. The Choheongwan’s belt used he gold and silver relics of King Muryong, and the Aheongwan, Jongheongwan and Jibsagwan’s belt was reproduced as a silver plate on a silver belt. The king’s shoes represented a gold pattern of Gwigabmun(龜甲紋), but the Aheongwan, Jongheongwan and Jibsagwan’s shoes were not expresessed. Other ornaments were made using artifacts unearthed from King Muleung, and were reproduced only as king’s ornaments
