중국조선족문학 최초의 작품과 그 창작 배경에 대하여 (On the first literary work of Korean-Chinese and its Wrighting Background)

초록

중국조선족문학사가 1920년대부터 시작한다고 하지만, 최초의 작품이 무엇인지 확실치가 않다. 최초의 작품이 확정되어야만 그때부터 문학사가 시작된다.
연세대학교 중앙도서관 고서실에 소장된 『강북일기(江北日記)』는 평안도 후창군 아전 최종범·김태흥·임석근 3명이 1872년 5월 30일부터 7월 11일까지 42일 동안 압록강 건너편 청나라 지역을 돌아다니며 기록한 것이다. 앞머리에 덧붙은 채색지도에는 이들이 답사했던 압록강 일대의 산과 강줄기, 마을들이 그려져 있다. 직접 걸어다녔던 행로는 붉은 선으로 표시했다.
이들은 압록강 건너편에 정착한 수천 명 조선족의 생활실태를 조사하는 한편, 평안도 백성들이 압록강을 건너게 된 이유와 별계(別界)·고인(高人)의 소문도 자세히 수집하여 기록했다. 유언비어에 속아 월경(越境)한 조선족들은 대부분 후회하며 살았는데, 훈장(訓長) 출신의 이덕희(李德禧 1823~?)에게서 1867년 무산부사 마행일이 환포(還逋) 10여만 석을 강제로 거둬들이자 무산 백성들이 별계 이야기에 현혹되어 대규모로 강을 건너왔다는 이야기도 들려주었다. 이덕희는 저자들에게 부(賦) 1편과 시 1수를 지어 주며, 할수없이 조선족 정착촌에 살아야 하는 자신의 심정을 표현하였다. 유언비어에 미혹되어 가족을 이끌고 오랑캐 땅에 들어와 중도에 모친상까지 당하고 충효를 저버린 자신의 행위를 후회하는 작품이다.
이덕희는 무산(茂山)에 살던 김유사(金有司)가 7~8년 전에 별계(別界)와 고인(高人) 이야기를 꾸며 퍼뜨렸다는 사실까지도 알려주었다. 이 시기가 바로 평안도 주민들이 압록강을 처음 건너간 시기이며, 그가 지어 퍼뜨린 이야기가 중국조선족 최초의 구비설화이다. 그러나 그 이야기는 서사구조가 완전히 전해지지 않아, 지금으로선 이덕희가 지은 부(賦) 1편과 한시 1수가 최초의 작품이라고 할 수 있다. 이때 이미 수천명의 조선족 정착촌이 만들어지고, 조선족 사회가 형성되었기 때문이다.

영어초록

Even though it is said that the literary history of Korean-Chinese began in 1920s, it is not certain which is the first literary work. Only when the first work is determined, then the literary history can be set up.
Gangbuk journal, which is kept in old books storage in central library of Yonsei University, was recorded by three petty officials, Choi jongbeom, Kim taeheung, and Lim seokgeun in Huchang province, Pyeongan-do while they were making a round of the nation, Cheong across the Amnok-river for inspection for 42 days from May 30 to July 11 in 1872. In the color map which is attached to the forehead, there are drawn mountain, the course of river, and villages around the Amnok-river about which they explored. They marked the paths where they walked by themselves with a red line.
While they examined the life status of thousands of Korean-Chinese who had been settled there, they also collected and recorded the reason why the people in Pyeongan -do crossed the Amnok-river and the rumor about utopia and hero.
Most Korean-Chinese, who crossed the boarder by false rumors, repented with the behavior of themselves. Lee deokhi(1823~?), who had been a teacher before moving there, said that the people in Musan had crossed the river in a large group being infatuated by utopia story when the deputy delegate of Musan province, Ma haengil, collected the rice as much over 100 thousands with force in the name of whanpo in 1867. Lee deokhi expressed his heartache which was from the situation of living there unwillingness as giving them a peace of ode and poem. The work expressed the repentance about the behavior that he had led his family to the barbarian land being deceived by the false rumors and lost his mother in the way of it, so that he failed to keep royalty and filial piety.
Lee deokhi also told them that Kim yusa, who had lived in Musan, made and spread a story of utopia and hero about 7~8 years before. This was the period when the people in Pyeongan-do crossed the Amnok-river for the first time, and the story which was made by him was the first oral traditional tale about Korean-Chinese. However the narrative formation of this story has not come down perfectly so we can say that the piece of ode and poem are the first works at this moment.
