진지한 여가로서의 골프참여와 레크리에이션전문화의 관계 (The Casual Relationships Serious Leisure and Recreation Specialization by Golfer)

초록

본 연구의 목적은 골프참여자 218명을 대상으로 진지한 여가와 레크리에이션 전문화의 관계를 규명하는걱으로 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다.
첫째, 진지한 여가 특성의 높은 수준은 골프 참가자들의 레크리에이션 전문화 수준을 높일 수 있는 것으로 나타났다.
둘째, 진지한 여가는 레크리에이션 전문화의 세부 요인에 부분적으로 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 진지한 여가의 극복의지, 개인노력, 독특한 윤리, 정체성은 행동 집중에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 진지한 여가의 극복의지, 개인적 노력, 정체성과 전문성은 기술과 지식에 영향을 주는 것으로 확인되었다. 진지한 여가의 극복의지, 전문성, 지속적 이득은 지속적인 관여라는 행동 신념인 헌신에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 따라서 Scott & Shafer(2001), Tsaur & Liang(2008), 황선환(2009)의 진지한 여가와 레크리에이션의 이론적 개념을 실증적으로 입증하였다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the casual relationships between serious and recreation specialization.
This study concerning serious leisure has focused on testing the nature of golf activities using six distinctive qualities proposed by Stebbins(1992). To conduct this study, a total of 218 golfer selected by the convenience random sampling method. Values for Cronbach’s α were calculated through exploratory analysis and used t confirm validity and reliability of the questionnaire by using SPSS version 17.0. In addition, confirmatory analysis was applied to assess the valid relation between latent variables and observed variable. A structural equation modeling was applied to determine the relationship among the factors by using AMOS 7.0. The results of the analysis were as follows.
First, this study describes how serious leisure has a positive relationship with recreation specialization. Having a career in a recreational endeavor and identifying strongly with the activity are the major predictors of recreation specialization. Second, Perseverance, significant personal effort, unique ethos, and identify strongly with the activity of serious leisure were found to be positively related to focusing of behavior factor of recreation specialization. Perseverance, have careers in their endeavors, significant personal effort, and identify strongly with the activity of serious leisure were found to be positively related to skill & knowledge factor of recreation specialization. Perseverance, have careers in their endeavors, durable individual benefits, and identify strongly with the activity of serious leisure were found to be positively related to commitment factor of recreation specialization.
