COVID-19에 따른 융복합 섬유·패션 전시산업의 실태와 향후 전망 (Future Prospects of the Converged Textile and Fashion Exhibition Industry according to COVID-19)

초록

본 연구는 섬유·패션 전시회의 활성화와 성공적인 전시회를 개최하기 위한 기초적인 자료를 제공하고자 시작되었다. 본 연구의 목적은 COVID-19 전후로 변화된국내 섬유·패션 전시회의 융·복합적 사례와 섬유·패션전시회의 실태를 살펴보고 개선점을 논의하고자 한다.
본 연구의 연구 방법은 문헌연구와 질적 연구를 병행하여 결과를 도출하였으며, 10명의 섬유·패션 전시전문가에게 COVID-19의 섬유·패션 전시회의 실태와향후 전망에 대하여 개별 심층인터뷰를 실시하였다.
연구결과 및 내용은 다음과 같다.
첫째, COVID-19 확산으로 패션과 테크놀로지의 중요성이 강조되면서 디지털 전환이 가속화되었다. 둘째, 온·오프라인이 융합된 하이브리드 전시회가 대세가 되고 있다. 셋째, 전시회에서 친환경·지속가능성이 중요한화두가 되고 있다. 넷째, 전세계 어디서나 시즌의 구분없이 제품 구매가 가능한 전시회가 되었다. 앞에서언급한 실태를 바탕으로 섬유·패션 전시회의 전망을살펴보면 첫째, 패션테크가 활성화 되어 다양한 디지털기술이 전시회와 융합될 것으로 예상된다. 둘째, E-커머스 마케팅의 활성화에 따른 온라인 콘텐츠의 개발이확대될 것이다. 셋째, 비대면 소비의 확산으로 무인 서비스가 강조되는 리테일테크가 강세일 전망이다. 넷째, 세계적으로 트렌드인 친환경과 탄소제로, 지속가능성의중요성이 전시회가 대세가 될 전망이다.
이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 포스트 코로나 시대의섬유·패션 전시산업을 예측하여 향후 정부 지원 정책및 섬유·패션 기업의 마케팅 전략을 수립함에 있어서유용한 기초자료가 될 것으로 기대한다.

영어초록

This study was started to provide basic data for the activation of textile and fashion exhibitions and the successful exhibitions. The purpose of this study is to investigate the convergence cases of exhibitions that have changed before and after COVID-19, examine the actual conditions of textile and fashion exhibitions, and discuss improvements.
The research method of this study was to draw results by conducting literature research and qualitative research. In addition, the researcher conducted in-depth interviews with 10 experts in textile and fashion exhibitions on the actual condition and future prospects of COVID-19 textile and fashion exhibitions.
The results and contents of this study are as follows: first, the digital transformation has accelerated as the importance of fashion and technology has been emphasized due to the spread of COVID-19; second, the exhibition form has been changed to a hybrid exhibition that combines online and offline; third, the number of exhibitions with the concept of eco-friendliness and sustainability has been increased; fourth, the online exhibition made it possible to purchase products from anywhere in the world, thereby revitalizing exhibitions without distinction of seasons. Thus, suggestions from the study result are as follows: first, fashion tech is revitalized, and various digital technologies are expected to converge with the exhibition; second, it is necessary to continuously develop online content according to the activation of e-commerce marketing; third, retail technology, which emphasizes unmanned services due to the spread of non-face-to-face consumption, is expected to be strong; fourth, the exhibition should realize zero carbon which is a key trend in the textile and fashion industry for the present and the foreseeable future. Hence, the results can be useful basic research data for predicting the textile and fashion exhibition industry in the Post COVID-19 era, and establish future government support policies and marketing strategies for textile and fashion companies.
