초록

A lot of korean scholars have been strenuously insisted that Ahn Jung-geun killed the first Prime Minister of Japan, Ito Hiro-bumi(伊藤博文) with the help of independence fighters working for the Daedonggongbo (Eastern Public, 大東共報). But I have reexamined their positions and made my conclusion Ahn did it himself. This can be concluded as following.
Meanwhile, the background of Ahn Jung-geun's punishment on Ito has been discussed on the report Japanese intelligence had made.
Ahn had arrived in Vladibostok October 10 in 1909. The gathering for Ito assassination never held there. Furthermore, Yoon Byung-ill was a Russian spy, therefore if the gathering would be held Ahn Jung-geun must had been arrested by the Russian police. Particularly it is important that Cho Do-seon(曹道先) visited to Chae-ga-ku(蔡家溝)with Ahn October 24 in 1909 did attend the meeting the japanese spy had reported.
Before his visit to Vladibostok, he asked Choe Jae-hong for help in Yeonchu. But Choe turned him down. So he returned to Vladibostok to find a way to fight against the Japanese invaders.
Ahn Jung-geun and his comrade, Woo Duk-soon(禹德淳), testified with certainty that the place where they had made the plan to kill Ito. But the Japanese spy and Yi Kang(李剛), the editor of Daedonggongbo, gave the different testimony. There is no doubt that the place where they had made the plan to kill Ito was Ahn's place.
The money for Ito assassination had been given by Yi Seok-san(李錫山), a indepedence fighter. the Japanese spy insisted that Mihailof, a supporter for the Korean indepedence fighters gave the money. While Woo Duk-soon insisted that Yoo Jin-youl(兪鎭律) gave the money. The fact is Ahn extorted the money from Yi Seok-san by threats.
Ahn had used his pistol to kill Ito. Woo carried his pistol with him. In fact nobody gave the pistols to them. and Kim Hyung-jae(金衡在), a Harbin resident, was not involved in Ito assassination. None of Korean residents in Harbin were involved in Ahn's righteous act.
Japanese Residency General(統監府) insisted that Ahn's righteous act had been made by the cooperation between Ahn and the Korean independence fighters working for the Daedonggongbo at the early stage of investigation. But according to the investigation by Sakai, a senior Japanese policeman in korea, and Kurachi, a senior officer from high-ranking officials in the Japanese diplomatic corps, nobody had actually been involved in the assassination of Ito but Ahn.
In conclusion, Ahn Jung-geun killed Ito, a Japanese invader, with the help of Woo Duk-soon.
