천부(天符)사상과 신문명 (The Cheonbu Thought and a New Civilization)

초록

수천 년 동안 국가 통치엘리트 집단의 정치교본이자 만백성의 삶의 교본으로서 전 세계에 찬란한 문화․문명을 꽃피우게 했던 천부경은, 현재 지구촌의 종교세계와 학문세계를 아우르는 진리 전반의 문제와 정치세계의 문명충돌 문제의 중핵을 이루는 유일신 논쟁, 창조론․진화론 논쟁, 유물론․유심론 논쟁, 신․인간 이원론, 종교적 타락상과 물신 숭배 사조, 인간 소외 현상 등에 대해 그 어떤 종교적 교의나 철학적 사변이나 언어적 미망에 빠지지 않고 단 81자로 명쾌하게 그 해답을 제시하고 있다. ‘집일함삼(執一含三)’과 ‘회삼귀일(會三歸一)’을 뜻하는 일즉삼․삼즉일의 원리에 기초한 천부경의 천․지․인 삼신일체 사상은 유일신 논쟁을 침묵시킬만한 난공불락의 논리구조와 ‘천지본음(天地本音)’을 담고 있다. 무수한 진리의 가지들이 결국 하나의 진리로 되돌아감을 보여주는 천부사상은 인간 존재의 ‘세 중심축’ - 종교와 과학과 인문 즉 신과 세계와 영혼의 세 영역(天地人 三才) - 의 연관성 상실을 초래한 서구적 근대의 극복을 통해 신문명의 개창 원리로 작용할 수 있다.

영어초록

This paper is to explore the cardinal point of the Cheonbu Thought corresponding to the way of Heaven of the Trinity of heaven, earth and the creation through Cheonbugyeong, which is a scripture native to the Korean people, and at the same time to clarify whether such Cheonbu Thought could be worked as an opening principle of a new civilization by overcoming the western modernity. Cheonbugyeong, not only as a political textbook of the ruling class but also as a lifelong texts for the ruled throughout thousands of years in the ancient Korea, made the glorious civilization flourished throughout the world. Cheonbugyeong gives a lucid answer to questions by means of only eighty-one words without falling into any kind of religious doctrine, philosophical speculation or linguistic delusion - the questions of disputes on one true God, the theories of creation/evolution, materialism/spiritualism, and of the dualism of God/human, religious depravity and the current of fetishism, human alienation. etc. which constitute the core of the questions of the whole field of truth comprising religious and academic world and of the clash of civilizations of political world in the present time. The Cheonbu Thought of the Trinity of heaven, earth and the creation which connotes one true God manifesting oneself in three unique ways based on the principle of which "one(the one God) is three(the creation), three are one" contains an impregnable logic structure and the Word of heaven and earth which could silence a dispute of one true God. The Cheonbu Thought that shows the innumerable branches of truth finally return to Oneness contains an excellent remedy for western political liberalism which has caused the loss of relation of three central axis of human existence - heaven, earth and the creation.
