중국 신화는 중국 문화의 핵심 구성 요소로, 풍부한 역사와 깊은 문화적 함의를 담고 있다. 글로벌화와 정보 기술의 발전에 따라 신화 속 인물들은 시대와 문화를 초월하는 상징으로 자리 잡았으며, 현대적인 서사 방식을 통해 재해석되고 새롭게 전파되고 있다. 이랑신 양전은 중국 신화 속에서 효도와 권력에 대한 저항정신을 상징하여 고대부터 많은 주목과 존경을 받아왔다. 그 역사적 변천 과정은 어떻고, 현대적 가치는 무엇인가.

Chinese mythology is an integral component of Chinese culture, encompassing a rich historical legacy and profound cultural significance. With the advancement of globalization and information technology, mythological figures have transcended temporal and cultural boundaries, emerging as universal symbols that are continually reinterpreted and disseminated through modern narratives. One such figure is also known as Yang Jian, who embodies the values of filial piety and resistance to authority in Chinese mythology. Since ancient times, he has garnered considerable reverence and attention.
How can the depiction of Erlang Shen be traced back to the Han Dynasty, where he evolved through various representations, including Li Bing, Du Jian, and Zhao Yu, before being definitively established as Yang Jian during the Ming Dynasty? In contemporary society, the rapid development of the cultural industry has facilitated the widespread adaptation of Erlang Shen across various forms of media, including animation, games, and television dramas. The animated film New Gods: Yang Jian reimagines the character as a mortal who has lost his divine powers and embarks on a journey to save the world. Similarly, the video game Black Myth: Wukong presents Yang Jian as a figure who endures adversity while safeguarding the relics of Sun Wukong, challenging players to navigate his trials. Additionally, the television drama The Prequel to the Lotus Lantern integrates elements of traditional mythology with new emotional dimensions, offering a modernized interpretation of the character.
These contemporary adaptations reconstruct Yang Jian’s image through digital technology and modern storytelling techniques, reflecting contemporary values and imbuing new meanings. His portrayal frequently explores themes of resistance to authority and the pursuit of justice, playing a crucial role in connecting traditional culture with modern commercial value. Across various media platforms, Yang Jian serves as a symbolic bridge between tradition and modernity, demonstrating how traditional mythology can be reinterpreted in contemporary narratives.
