초록

송대 금속공예는 仿古銅器와 金銀器라는 두 가지 축을 중심으로 발전해왔다. 방고동기는 예제개혁과 회복을 통한 권력강화를 위해 황실 주도 하의 진행된 금속공예였다. 북송의방고동기는 휘종대에 집중적으로 제작되었고, 상대 고동기의 기형과 서주 고동기의 명문을적용하였으며, 부분 주조 후 접합하는 방식으로 제작하였다. 남송대 방고동기는 紹興, 紹熙 연간에 주로 제작되었고, 宣和博古圖 를 바탕으로 淳熙釋尊制度圖 , 紹熙州縣釋奠儀 圖 와 같은 예서를 활용하여 새로운 경향의 방고동기를 만들었다.
송대의 금은기는 재질의 희소성에도 불구하고 사용이 보편화 되었는데, 東京夢華錄 등의 기록을 통해 확인할 수 있다. 송대 금은기 사용의 보편화는 시장경제의 활성화를 의미하는 것으로 금은기 소유는 제한적이지만, 사용은 영업장을 방문한 사람은 누구나 할 수 있었다. 송대 금은기는 협층법과 거푸집 단조 등 전대와는 다른 기법으로 제작하기도 하였는데, 협층법은 기형의 중후함과 내부를 매끄럽게 만들어 사용이 편리하였고, 거푸집 단조는 동일기형을 대량생산 할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 문양 표현에서는 화훼문과 인물고사 등이 주요 문양으로 등장하였고, 타출기법으로 문양을 강조하기도 하였다.
송대 방고동기와 금은기는 재질과 기형, 문양에서 차이를 보이지만, 금은으로 방고동기를만들고 고동기의 문양을 금은기에 적용한 것은 당시 금은기에도 방고동기의 영향이 있었다는 것을 보여주는 것이다.
송대 금속공예의 두 가지 축인 방고동기와 금은기의 소유는 황실과 관료 등의 지배층에국한되었지만, 소비와 사용은 다른 양상을 보인다. 방고동기의 사용은 황실과 관료 등 지배층에 국한되었지만, 금은기는 영업점에서 누구나 사용할 수 있었던 공예품이었던 것이다. 송대 방고동기와 금은기는 역할의 차이가 있었지만, 황실에서 민간으로 그리고 상품화로 다양하게 변화하는 모습을 잘 보여준 송대의 금속공예의 두 가지 축이었다.

영어초록

The metal crafts of Song dynasty had developed centering on two axes: imitating ancient bronzes and gold and silver vessels. The imitating ancient bronzes was the metal crafts led by the imperial family in order to reinforce and legitimize their sovereign power through reform and recover national rite.
The imitating ancient bronzes of Northern Song were produced during Huizong era, They adopted the vessel types of Shang dynasty and the inscriptions of Zhou dynasty, It was manufactured by joining after partial casting. The imitating ancient bronzes of Southern Song was produced during Gaojong era and Gwangong era, The production of the imitating ancient bronzes of Southern dynasty was used the ritual books such as Xuanhebogutu, Chunxishidianzhidutu (淳熙釋尊制度圖), and Shaoxizhouxianshidianyitu(紹熙州縣釋奠儀圖).
The gold and silver vessels of Song dynasty was widely used despite the scarcity of materials, which can be confirmed through records Dongjingmenghuaru(東京夢華錄). The universal use of gold and silver vessels in the Song dynasty meant the revitalization of the market economy. Although ownership of gold and silver vessels was limited, anyone who visited pub could use the gold and silver vessels. The gold and silver vessel of Song dynasty were also produced using techniques different from those of previous dynasty like double-layered technic and mold forging. The double-layered technic has an advantage of voluminous shape and smooth inside for use. The mold forging technic has a meaning in that it enables mass production of the same vessels.
The flowering plant and historical event was the main designs, the designs was expressed by the repoussé technic.
Although the imitating ancient bronzes and the gold and silver vessels have a difference in materials, shape, and designs, the fact that the design of ancient bronzes was applied to gold and silver vessels shows the influence of the imitaing ancient bronzes.
The two axes of Song dynasty, imitating ancient bronzes and gold and silver vessels, were owned by the ruling class such as the imperial family and bureaucrats, but they show different aspects in consumption and use. Although the use of the imitating ancient bronzes was limited to the ruling class, gold and silver vessels that anyone could use at pubs. There was a difference in role between imitating ancient bronzes and gold and silver vessels, however, they were the two axes of metal crafts of the Song dynasty, which showed various changes from the imperial family to the private sector and commercialization.
