내용분석방법을 통한 소비자행복 분석- 소확행 트렌드를 중심으로 - (An Analysis on Consumer Happiness through Content Analysis - Focusing on the “Small but Certain Happiness” Trend -)

초록

본 연구는 현대 사회에서 소비자들의 새로운 행복에 대한 담론으로 제시되고 있는 행복 추구 방법인 소확행(작지만 확실한 행복)트렌드 현상에 대해 다양한 측면에서 실증적으로 파악하고자 한다. 이를 위해 연구 방법 가운데 내용분석방법을 활용하였으며, 주요한 연구결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 소비자들은 소비, 식사 및 음주, 여행, 취미, 요리, 휴식 등의 행위를 통해 소확행을 느끼는 것으로 나타났다. 특히나 남성 소비자는 식사, 음주, 여행, 소비, 스포츠 활동이, 여성 소비자는 소비, 식사, 음주, 여행, 취미를 통해 소소하지만 확실한 행복이 발현된다고 나타났다.
둘째, 소확행 행위 중 소비행위를 중점적으로 분석한 결과 소비자들은 음식, 음료, 주류, 문화생활, 유희, 외모관리 등의 상품 및 서비스를 구매하고 사용하는 것으로 제시되었다. 남성 소비자는 식음료에 대한 소비가 높게 나타났으며, 여성 소비자는 식음료와 문화생활에 대한 소비 비중이 높다.
셋째, 소비자들은 소소하지만 확실한 행복의 순간을 자녀와 가족과 공유한다고 수치가 가장 높게 나타났으며, 이어 친구, 연인, 부부, 혼자, 반려동물 순으로 제시되었다. 남성 소비자는 친구, 연인이, 여성 소비자는 자녀와 가족과 함께 하는 비중이 높은 것으로 도출되었다.
넷째, 소비자들의 소확행이 나타나는 장소로 일상 공간과 일상을 벗어난 장소가 혼재되어 제시되었는데, ‘집/동네, 카페, 식사 공간, 자연, 문화시설, 소비 공간 등’으로 나타났다.
마지막으로 소확행에 대한 워드클라우드에서는 소비자들의 식문화 관련된 키워드(마카롱, 먹방, 요리, 카페 등)와 놀이, 여가 문화 관련 키워드(호캉스, 기차, 물놀이, 여행, 휴가 등), 소비자들의 긍정적 감정(좋은, 고마워, 꿀잼, 추억, 힐링 등)이 도출되었다.

영어초록

This study aimed to empirically understand the “small but certain happiness” trend, proposed as a discourse on consumer happiness in modern society. To this end, content analysis was adopted as one of the research methods, and the major findings are as follows.
First, consumers feel that they can achieve “small but certain happiness” through consumption of material goods, eating and drinking, traveling, hobbies, cooking, and resting activities. In particular, male consumers showed “small but certain happiness” through food, drinking, traveling, consumption, and sports activities, while female consumers showed it through consumption, eating, drinking, traveling and hobbies.
Second, the analysis of consumption activities that resulted in “small but certain happiness” revealed that, to achieve such happiness, consumers should purchase and use products and services related to food, beverages, liquor, cultural life, entertainment, and appearance. Male consumers showed high consumption of food and beverages, while female consumers presented high consumption of food and cultural life.
Third, consumers were more likely to share moment of “small but certain happiness” with their children and family, followed by friends, lovers, wife․husband, alone, and companion animals. Male consumers were more likely to share these moments with friends, and lovers, while female consumers were more likely to do so with their children and families.
Fourth, the consumer’s places to find “small bur certain happiness” included everyday spaces and non ordinary places. These places were the ‘house/neighborhood’, a cafe, a dining space, nature, cultural facilities, and consumption spaces.
Finally, the study derived a word-cloud with key words related to food and culture(“macaron,” “eating show,” “cooking,” “cafe,” etc.), as well as words related to leisure culture(“hokangs,” “trains,” “water games,” “trips,” “vacations,” etc.) and positive feelings(“good,” “thanks,” “feeling funny,” “memories,” “healing,” etc.).
