초록

본고의 연구목적은 『역위건착도』의 ‘역지삼의(易之三義)’에 나타나는 군신·부자·부부간의 윤리를 『춘추 번로』의 삼강론과 비교하여 고찰하는 것이다. 『역위건착도』에서는 이러한 인륜적 질서관을 ‘역지삼의(易之三 義)’에 포함시킴으로써, 인간사회의 윤리적 질서를 자연적 질서의 체계 속으로 끌어들였다. 그것은 변역과 불 역에서 잘 드러난다. 불역은 종법사회나 봉건사회 하에서 지켜야 할 불가역적 사회구조, 즉 보편적 윤리체계에 해당한다. 이에 학자들은 『역위건착도』는 봉건적 계급질서가 바뀔 수 없다는 관점을 가진 것으로만 이해하지 만, 실은 개인의 도덕성에 부합하지 않을 경우, 군신 및 부부의 관계가 무너질 수 있는 가역적 인륜관계를 함 께 상정하고 있다. 이것이 변역에서 나타나는 개별적 윤리체계이다. 변역은 올바른 질서체계로 회복시키기 위 한 행위의 당위성과, 음양의 조화에 따라 가정을 이루어야 한다는 전통적 혼인관이 내포된 ‘변절’의 개념을 통 해 설명되었다. 즉 『춘추번로』의 삼강은 절대적이고 수직적 명령체계로 설정되어, 불역의 보편적 윤리체계를 넘어선 절대적 윤리체계를 가지는 반면, 『역위건착도』는 개인의 도덕성을 기준으로 한 상대적 인륜관계를 중 시하였다. 이와 같은 차이는 인륜관계에 적용된 서로 다른 음양관과, 효치사상의 유무를 통해 설명된다.

영어초록

The purpose of this paper is to compare and examine the ethics between the monarch and subject, between the father and son, and between the husband and wife in the “Three meanings of Yi(易之三義)” of Yiwei-Qianzaodu with the ‘Theory of three basic principles(三綱論)’ of Chunqiufanlao . In the Yiwei-Qianzaodu, included the relationship of humanity in the ‘Three meanings of Yi(易之三義)’ and attracted the ethical order of human society into the system of natural order.
It is well represented through the Buyi(不易) and the Bianyi(變易). When limited to human society, the Buyi(不易) corresponds to an immutable social structure that must be observed under the Patriarchal society or feudal society, that is, a universal ethical system. Accordingly, scholars understand that the Yiwei-Qianzaodu only has the view that the feudal class order cannot be changed, In fact, it also assumes a changeable human relationship that can collapse the relationship between the monarch and subject, and between the husband and wife, if it does not match the morality of the individual. This is called the individual ethical system that appears in the Bianyi(變易). And the Bianyi(變易) was explained through the concept of ‘Bianjie(變節)’ that implies the justification of actions to restore to the correct order system and the traditional marriage view that families should be made according to the harmony of Yin(陰) and yang(陽). In other words, ‘Theory of three basic principles(三綱論)’ of the Chunqiufanlao was established as an absolute and vertical command system, and it had an absolute ethical system that went beyond the universal ethical system of the Buyi(不易), while the Yiwei-Qianzaodu emphasized the relative human relations based on individual morality. This difference is explained through the different ‘Yin-Yang’ views and the influenced or not from ‘Covernance under filial piety(孝治)’ applied to human relations.
