기독교상담 정체성 모델에 관한 고찰 - 기독교 삼위일체 신학 정신에 입각한 “3I” 모델 - (The Study on the Christian Counseling Identity Model : “3I Model” Based on the Christian Trinity Theological Spirit)

현대 심리상담 분야에서 기독교상담 영역은 높은 수준의 전문성과 공공의 영향력을 가지고 발전해왔다. 그러나 그 이면에는 일반 상담이론과 상담방법론을 도구로 사용하는 기독교상담자들에게 기독교상담 정체성에 관한 질문들에 명료하게 답하기 어려운 모호함이 존재해왔다. 때문에 기독교상담은 실천적 학문으로서 발전해오면서 정체성에 관한 연구들이 지속적으로 수행되어 왔다. 주로 기독교상담의 상담방법론적인 정체성을 확립하고자 일반 상담심리 이론이나 상담방법론을 신학적으로 재해석하는 접근들이었다. 본 논문은 기존의 정체성 연구들의 업적을 계승하면서도 기독교 신학 정신의 핵심인 삼위일체 신학 정신에 입각한 기독교상담의 실천적 세계관과 상담자가 지녀야할 정신과 태도를 제시함으로써 새로운 접근의 기독교상담 정체성을 드러내고자 하였다.
본 논문은 기독교상담의 정체성 모델을 기독교 삼위일체 신학 정신의 영문 이니셜을 연결하여 “3I” 모델이라고 명명하여 제안하고자 한다. 첫 번째 “I”는 Incarnation, 즉 성육신 신학 정신을 의미한다. 이는 성육신 신학 정신으로 그리스도를 본받아 내담자를 공감하라는 정신이다. 두 번째 “I”는 Imago-Dei, 즉 하나님의 형상 신학 정신을 의미한다. 이는 하나님의 형상대로 지음받은 내담자를 존중하고 인간 내면의 하나님의 표상을 함께 발견하라는 정신이다. 세 번째 “I”는 Inspiration, 즉 성령감화 신학 정신을 의미한다. 이는 영적 존재인 인간 내면의 영적 통찰과 깨달음을 촉진하라는 정신이다. 이 세 가지 “I”를 연결한 “3I 모델”을 기독교상담자가 지녀야 하는 정신 요소로써 기독교상담 정체성 모델을 제안하는 것이 본 논문의 목적이다.

영어초록

In the field of modern professional counseling, the field of Christian Counseling has developed with a high level of expertise and public influence. However, behind it, Christian counselors who learn and use general counseling theory as a methodology have experienced the discomfort of ambiguity in front of questions about the identity of Christian Counseling. Therefore, as Christian Counseling has developed into a practical discipline, studies on identity have been continuously conducted. It was mainly approaches that theological hermeneutics of general counseling psychology theory or methodology to establish the counseling methodological identity of Christian Counseling. While inheriting the achievements of precedent studies about the identity of Christian Counseling, this study attempted to propose the Christian Counseling identity of a new approach by presenting the practical worldview of Christian Counseling and the spirit and attitude that counselors should have based on the Trinity theological spirit.
This study proposes the identity model of Christian Counseling by linking the English initials of the Christian Trinity Theological spirit with the name "3I Model". The first "I" means Incarnation, that is, theological spirit of Incarnation. This is a spirit to follow Christ with the spirit of sympathizing with the client. The second "I" means Imago-Dei, that is, the spirit of Imago-Dei(God) theology. This is the spirit of respecting the client, who has been created in the Imago-Dei(God), and discovering the image of God inside the client together. The third "I" means Inspiration, that is, the spirit of the Holy Spirit and Inspiration theology. This is the spirit to promote spiritual insights and enlightenment in the clients, who are spiritual beings. The purpose of this study is to propose a Christian Counseling identity model that presents the "3I model" that connects these three "I"s as a spiritual element that Christian counselors must have.
