초록

This study focused on developing policy alternatives for enhancing the quality of life restoration among elderly single women, with an emphasis on their subjective health perception and social-economic status. To achieve this, data was collected using the purposive sampling method from 214 elderly single women aged 65 and above and analyzed. The following results were obtained: Firstly, the quality of life of elderly single women was relatively satisfactory, and they exhibited a relatively high level of self-esteem. Secondly, the influence of subjective health perception on the quality of life of elderly single women showed that social factors of subjective health perception had a positive impact on enthusiasm, self-esteem, and integration in their quality of life, while the physical factors of subjective health perception had a positive effect on a sense of coherence in their quality of life. Conversely, the emotional/psychological factors of subjective health perception were found to have a negative impact on integration in their quality of life. Thirdly, the subjective perception of health among elderly single women exhibited a moderating effect of subjective socioeconomic awareness on the relationship between quality of life, enthusiasm, and integration factors.
