嘆詞 ‘嘻’와 ‘嘆’의 同源詞 및 派生詞에 대한 고찰 (A Study on the same roots words, derivational words of the exclamation ‘嘻’ and ‘嘆’)

초록

嘆詞는 정서적 의미를 표현하는 어휘로, 때로는 擬態語, 擬聲語가 되기도 하며 어떤 탄사는 실제 어휘로 확장이 되어 實詞가 되기도 한다. 이렇게 실사가 된 탄사는 발전 과정에서 그것의 同源詞와 派生詞들을 찾아 볼 수 있다. 嘆과 嘻를 탐구하여 보았을 때, 嘆은 嘆詞이면서 擬聲語, 擬態語로 되기도 하였으며, 謓, 嗔, 瞋, 闐, 塡, 癲, 顚 등의 어휘를 파생하여 이들과 동원사가 되기도 하였고, 지금은 實詞로 변하였다. 嘆詞를 原生詞로 보는 시각에서 고찰할 때, 어휘 파생 기능이 강한 嘆詞인 嘆은 다른 실사 어휘를 파생하기도 하였고, 실제로 의미가 강화되어 실사화 되었다. 嘻는 異文이 많고, 다른 실사 어휘를 파생하기 보다는 독음이 같거나 비슷한 다른 嘆詞들과 同源詞관계를 형성하여 통용되었다. 또한 다른 實詞가 嘻와 통용되어 嘆詞로 사용되기도 하였다. 즉 嘻는 여러 가지 자형으로 하나의 의미를 나타내는 嘆詞의 특징이 잘 나타나는 嘆詞이며, 반대로 하나의 탄사 어휘로 여러 가지 다른 감정을 나타내는 탄사의 성질도 잘 나타나는 등 탄사로서의 성질이 강하여 독음이 비슷한 다른 실사도 嘻와 통용되는 탄사 용법을 가지게 되기도 하였다. 이러한 특징들이 嘻를 原生嘆詞로서 지금도 嘆詞로 사용되도록 만들었다.

At first, the exclamation was irregularly expressing the sound of the mind. As time passed, the exclamation came to have some degree of rule in terms of expressing emotion. Since becoming a promise, the chance connection of meaning has become regular with social recognition and approval. The exclamation is developed and becomes the meaning language, the exclamation is the root of the language, and the exclamation is the abstinence word and the right language. The emotional meaning is extended to the practical meaning of the vocabulary, creating many verbs.
Some exclamations do not indicate any fixed feelings. The meaning of the exclamation can be clearly seen in the concrete sentence.
The quantity of ancient Chinese is generally less than that of modern Chinese. However, the proportion of exclamation in ancient Chinese is very high. Sixteen exclamations were used in books of less than 800 characters. It can be seen that he used a lot of exclamations in ancient times.
There are some reasons why the scope of the exclamation is not as strict as it is now. In ancient times, there are many letter-shaped letters of admiration. The same emotion is expressed in different exclamations, and one exclamation expresses different emotions. The exclamation derives a vocabulary of many meanings. In addition, these exclamations have generated both monophonic and metonymic words and developed into two-syllable adjectives.
