포스트 코로나 시대 러시아 가족의 변화와 불평등의 문제 (Changes and Inequality Issues of Russian Family in the Post-COVID Era)

In early May WHO declared COVID-19 was no longer a global health emergency. But for Russian families it seems like the emergency of Covid isn’t over yet. During the pandemic, the average income of Russian people decreased by 8%, the largest decline since 1999. But the wealth of Russian billionaires increased by about 16%, from $ 392 billion to $ 454 billion. This shows how distorted the Russian economy was. There are problems of inequality with the Russian family according to social and economic class in Russian society. The problem of inequality in Russian families has intensified, which has caused various Russian family issues since the pandemic.
So the purpose of this article is to address the issue of changes and inequality in Russian families in a new normal society after the COVID-19 pandemic, and to study the problems of Russian families in the post-COVID-19 period that remain unfinished difficulties. In this context this article focuses on the problem of the Russian family in an inequal structure of society that had no choice but to collapse helplessly in the disaster of an infectious disease. Therefore Russian families who were under the influence of poverty and inequality during the pandemic are likely to be exposed to more crises for the time being even after the end of the pandemic. In addition, under the premise that all disasters revealed the problems of the most vulnerable part of society. So this study analyzed various cases of inequality experienced by Russian families in the social and economic vulnerable classes. At the same time as post-covid and amidst these Russian family issues, it should be examined social discourses that can form new social paradigms and policy requirements in Russia.
