초록

이 글은 16~17세기에 활동한 대표 문인집단인 小北七學士 가운데서도 雪蓑 南以恭의 교유시를 검토하여 특징적 면모를 논의하고자 한 첫 시도이며, 이를 통해 16세기 小北文壇 형성기 교유 양상의 일면을 확인하는데 목적을 둔다.
이에 2장에서는 설사의 生涯를 시기별로 자세히 살피는 동시에 다양한 문헌 자료와 挽詩를 통해 설사의 행적과 그에 대한 평가를 조명하였다. 또한 처음으로 소개되는 설사의 문집을 개관해 창작 시기를 추정하고, 특징적 면모를 논의하였다. 다음으로 3장에서는 설사의 문집을 통해 대략적인 교유시의 특징을 밝히면서도 小北文壇의 형성기라고 할 수 있는 16세기 小北계열 문인들의 작시 양상까지도 함께 확인하고자 하였다. 이에 첫 번째로는 樓亭이라는 공간을 기반으로 한 설사와 소북계열 문인들의 활동 양상을 살펴보았다. 이들은 詩會를 통해 문예 지취를 공유하고 문학 활동을 지속한 모습을 보이는데, 설사의 작품을 통해 소북계열 문인들이 夢烏亭과 水明亭을 기반으로 시적 교유를 이어온 사실을 파악하였다. 두 번째로는 寄贈 과정에서 창작된 시를 살펴 離別의 정서 토로를 통한 감정의 연대 양상을 포착하였으며, 문집이 현전하지 않는 小北七學士 및 小北文壇을 구성하고 있는 여러 문인의 존재를 파악해 실질적인 교유 양상을 확인하였다. 세 번째로는 韻字를 활용한 문인들과의 시적 대화 양상을 파악하였다. 元韻詩와 次韻詩를 추적하는 과정에서 다른 문인의 문집에 수록되어 있는 설사의 시를 새롭게 발굴할 수 있었으며, 작품을 통해 동일한 운자를 활용해 창작을 이어왔던 이들의 관계를 규명하였다. 또한 小北계열 문인들이 北人 및 南人계열과도 친밀한 관계를 맺고 있었음을 실증함으로써 小北文壇 형성기의 한 단면을 확인하였다.
지금까지 살펴본 바 있듯 이 글은 설사의 교유시를 중점적으로 연구하면서도 16세기 小北文壇 형성기에 자리하고 있던 다양한 문인들과의 교유 양상을 함께 살피고자 한 것이다. 이에 설사의 교유시 전반을 살펴보는 작업은 지금까지 학계에 소개된 바 없는 문인의 존재를 알리는 동시에 小北文壇의 실체를 밝혀낼 수 있는 연구의 첫걸음이라고 할 수 있겠다.

영어초록

This study is the first attempt to discuss the characteristic aspects by reviewing the friendship poems of Seolsa(雪蓑) Nam Yi-gong(南以恭) among Sobuk seven masters as representative literary group in the 16th and 17th centuries. In this way, the purpose of this study is to identify one aspect of companionship during formative period of Sobukmundan(小北文壇) in the 16th century.
Accordingly, in Chapter 2, this study was to focus on the evaluation of Seolsa(雪蓑) and his achievements through the various literature materials and condolatory poetry(挽詩) as well as to investigate Seolsa(雪蓑)'s whole life by period at the same time. In addition, this study was to estimate the creation period by surveying the collection of literary works of Seolsa(雪蓑) introduced first and to discuss the characteristic aspects. Next, in Chapter 3, while revealing the characteristics of friendship poems, this study was to identify the aspects of versification for Sobuk series of literary persons in the 16th century as formative period of Sobukmundan(小北文壇) together.
From the result of this research above, it may be summed up as follows. First, this study was to investigate Seolsa(雪蓑) based on a space called pavilons(樓亭) and activity patterns of Sobuk series of literary persons. Through the poetry club(詩會), they shared their taking arts and literary activities, and through Seolsa(雪蓑)'s works, this study has found out that Sobuk series of literary person continued their poetic companionship based on Mong O Jeong(夢烏亭) and Soo Myung Jeong(水明亭). Second, this study was to investigate the poems created in the donation process and capture the solidarity aspects of sentiment through the appeal of sentiment of farewell. In addition, this study was to identify the practical aspects of companionship by grasping the existence of many literary persons which are composed of Sobuk seven masters(小北七學士) and Sobukmundan(小北文壇) without presence of collection of literary works. Third, this study was to comprehend the aspects of poetic dialogue with the literary persons by using the rhyming words(韻字). In the process of tracking the original verse poem(元韻詩) and rhyme-borrowing poems(次韻詩), Seolsa(雪蓑)'s poems included in the collection of literary works by other literary persons could be newly discovered. In addition, this study was to confirm a section of formative period about Sobukmundan(小北文壇) by verifying that Sobuk series of literary persons had close ties with the Northern faction and Southern faction.
This study was to prepare as part of an investigation into the formation and development of Sobukmundan in the 16th century. Based on these research findings, this researcher considers it as it can drive new achievements in the future if the intact flow of our literary history can be revealed by clarifying the reality of Sobukmundan's academic·poetic connections, which remains an empty space in the history of Korean literature.
